Maybe....

Shoes here, there, and everywhere. Like I mentioned in my other posts, I am not an impulsive shopper...even when it comes to shoes. With that being said, I have to admit, I also like shoes just like every other woman out there. I guess what they say that it's part of our DNA is true. As early as now, I can tell that the little one likes shoes. I can only hope that she likes looking at them more than buying them. It's fine if she wants to buy more than me as long as she can afford them, right?

Anyway, when I opened my email today I saw some shoebuy coupons in there. What will a girl do if she sees shoes & coupons in the same line? Look for the best shoes to buy of course. Well, I haven't bought any...yet. I just looked around the site to see if there's a pair that wil catch my eye. Nope...there's more than one pair that caught my eye. I have to bookmark a few and will try to sleep on it. Maybe tomorrow wneh I wake I'd be able to choose just a pair...or two. My birthday is coming up in a few days, maybe I'll take the husband's offer and let him buy me a pair of shoes on my birthday. Just maybe....

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather?
