Yes, I'm talking about the show. I think this year's competition is a lot more controversial compared to the previous ones. Last season it got a little bit controversial as well just because one of the contestants was the mother of those 8 kids who used to have a show. But that's nothing compared to this season. The controvery this time is mostly about the Bristol Palin. Aside from being the daughter of Sarah Palin, they're saying that SHE CAN'T DANCE! What a surprise. Actually, that's not the surprising part. It's the fact that she's still in the competition 2 weeks before the finals. Right now, there are only 4 pairs left. One of the judges' fave Brandy was surprisingly sent home last week...and that irked a lot of people. Not me...because I don't really watch it. I just read about it. LOL...

One really irked individual was a man who shot his TV with a shot gun when Bristol was announced 'safe'. Isn't that crazy? What's crazier than that? Apparently somebody sent Bristol a mail with mysterious white powder in the envelope. Again...CRAZY! I'm sure Bristol can't wait until this competition is over...then she can relax again.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
