Paying it Forward...a Tag???

Yes, you read that right...I'm actually doing a tag! The last tag [or meme as we bloggers fondly call it] I did was a hundred and one years ago. That long huh? LOL... My Friday Sis - Clarisse aka 'the Wonder Wifey' tagged me on this one about a month ago and I only got the chance to do it now. Better late than...later? Heniwey...thanks C!

1) I like bargain shopping...online. Who doesn't, right?

2) I don't drive....because I can't...yet.

3) I *think* I'm obssessed with pajamas. I can't seem to stop buying them. Am I called a 'pajama-holic then?

4) I'm not really fond of the cold weather. There was even a time when I 'hated' going to Baguio because of my dislike of the cold weather. I'm slowly adjusting to it but I don't think I'll ever be fond of it.

5) I like to cook but I'm not very adventurous. As result, I get into a funk every now and then cooking the same dishes over and over again. I seriously need to start trying some new recipes.

6) I've been a WAHM for about 7 years now.

7) I haven't been back to the Philippines since leaving in 2001...so almost 10 years.


Wow...this is tougher than I thought. I couldn't come up with 7 things about me easily because it feels like I've blogged everything about me here in the last 3 years or so.

Anyway, I better stop here. If you feel like grabbing this tag, please do. Maybe I'll edit this in the coming days to tag some bloggers but for now, it's time to hit the hay because if I don't do it now my 'beloved' allergy will kick my arse tomorrow.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. It's not that I have nothing to write about. I have plenty but I seem to have lost interest in blogging. I thought  at first that it was just a phase. I thought it would only last for a few days but days turned into weeks then months then years and I still haven't blogged. Nothing sparked my interest to blog so I just didn't. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

M-U-L-C-H-E-D

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
