Guess What???

I mentioned in my other posts here that my Christmas present is here already. Yep, it arrived earlier this week. We looked for it on Thanksgiving weekend and we found it. But instead of buying it from the store where we found it, we decided to look for it online. Great decision because we found it online and it costs the same...with free shipping...without sales tax. What does that mean?? A saving of at least 100 bucks! Hubby ordered it right away and it was shipped a few days after.

Here's the funny part. The day after hubby bought it, he read an article about 'what NOT to give your wife for any occasion". Guess what??? My gift is on top of the list! LOL! He called me from work and told me about the article. I just laughed...

What could it be???? This one.....

Actually, the one on the list of "what Not to give your wife" is "Exercise equipment" wherein an elliptical falls under. Anyway, hubby is off the hook because I ASKED for it. It's been set up and we've been using it....the little one more than the Mommy & the Daddy. She always wants to use it when we're about to so we just let her. She'll get tired of it then we'll have it to ourselves....

Wow, that's a nice gift Huling! Been thinking too of getting a thread mill for me and daughter here.The problem though is where to place the huge stuff. Our space is very limited. So what we do now is to walk to and fro inside the house and follow some CD exercises. Pwede na rin! ha ha.

NIce to hear that you're not as cold as before. Dito, beach pa rin ang nasa isip kahit Christmas.

Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather?
