Wardrobe Overhaul

I need it badly! I'm not really into fashion but I used to have a wide array of wardrobe in my closet. But that's when I was still working outside the home. The last I school I taught in is an international school where teachers are not in uniform. That meant I had to buy new women's apparel almost every payday. That's how I accummulated the 'wide array' of wardrobe. Now that I am a WAHM, I work mostly in shirts & shorts during the warmer months and sweats during the colder ones. Actually I just got the sweats I ordered online a week ago. The husband is not very happy with my choice of apparel lately. He really wants to get some new ones but I'm not sure if I should take him on his offer. I just think I shouldn't be spending money in buying clothes I'd probably wear only once a year. But if that's what the husband wants, then so be it, right? We're going to the mall again this weekend. Who knows I may just come home with a bag or two of new clothes. Hmmm...

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
