Finally...

...it's almost the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week has been a lazy one for me for some reason. I have no idea why but I really have to force myself to do some work...especially 'real work'. I'm hoping it's just temporary spell and that it would go away soon or I'd beeeee in big trouble...

Like right now...all I want to do is to get out of my 'cave' [aka home office] and just laze in front of that big black screen in the living room...but I still have a few minutes left in my schedule so I'm trying to be patient....

Tomorrow will be a busy day...again. But at least I don't have to be tied down in one place. Meaning...I can do the things I need to do without worrying that I may miss something if I go a wee bit far. Also, it's the weekend so I don't have to think about getting on the elliptical....but I may just go into it if I feel like it...ain't that ironic?

Anyway...enjoy the weekend everyone. As for me....I'll try. No promises though.....ciao!

hola! inulan ba kayo? I heard may heavy rains in some parts of FL. I hope your weekend plan was not stalled due to the rain.

inulan din kami but it was not heavy and it was at the end of the day. we were able to have brunch out as the day started quite nice.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
