Monday Again?

Yes it is! So far it's been going okay. It's not as busy as the other Mondays so I'm trying to take it easy. We're also having a very pleasant weather today. It's in the mid-70s right now and the highest will only be in the low 80s.

Our weekend was spent going around looking for stuff but nothing stressful. We were sort of 'browsing' for things we want and MAY want in the future...LOL. I was also able to go to the Phil. store yesterday to pick up supplies. I didn't get as much ~ no frozen goods this time around because I thought we were swinging by somewhere else but we didn't.

We will have an early start tomorrow because I have an appointment with my doctor. I am hoping nothing too serious is going on. I'm trying to stay relaxed as much as possible but it's a bit hard sometimes to do that especially when something that you can't really explain starts happening to your body. Ugh! Oh well...I just hope I'll find the answer in my visit tomorrow.

In the meantime...

we have the same agenda. mauna ka nga lang. my second visit for the year sa Oncologist will be on Thursday. this time, may kasama akong pupunta.

good luck for tomorrow and matulog ng mahimbing (ang daling sabihin pero ganun din ako these days) para maaga ang gising. hope nothing is that serious.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
