Sleepless

More like 'sleep-lackness'. I've been going through that phase again where I just have a hard time falling asleep. I'm usually tired and would fall asleep for a few minutes when I go to bed only to wake up and not be able to go back to sleep for an hour to a couple of hours. When I wake up from that few minutes of shut-eye, it feels like I'm fully awake again. It's very frustrating to say the least. Right now I'm very sleepy. I'd probably fall asleep if I try to but I don't want to because I'm afraid it might keep me awake tonight. Sigh.

Anyway, we had a great weather today. Perfect for those who had a Memorial Day barbecue in their backyard...which we didn't have around here. We just went out to look for stuff...shoes, ceiling fan then we came back home. Hubby installed the fan in the back porch. Afterwards, we all stayed in the back porch to see how it works. That's how our Memorial Day went. Nothing exciting I must say.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Lucky 13

We survived the 13-year mark of our union! Yay! LOL... It will be 13 years this weekend since that picture of us holding hands was taken. We took it ourselves to signify the start of our life together. A lot has changed since that day. For one, there is now a third hand that we both hold tight...that of our little one. Also, those 2 hands have more wrinkles now and the rings, well, they've seen better days. But we're still wearing those same old rings up to this day. Mine are exactly the same while that of the husband had to be re-sized because it 'shrunk'. I guess that's what 13 years does to a ring....it shrinks! Or does it? Hmmm.... Anyway, it's been a great 13 years that 'spawned' [hehe] a great human being. Some days are harder than the others but there are definitely more 'good' days than bad ones.
