Such a grouch, isn't he? Can anyone relate? I sure can...sometimes.
 
As usual, the weekend went by fast. It was definitely a lazy weekend for us. Saturday was the usual chores day. Unlike the past couple of weekends I didn't do any weeding. I did a little bit of work outside late morning...I transplanted some of the lily bulbs to even out the space between them. It only took a few minutes to do that. That's all I did outside. I spent most of the day inside. Yesterday Sunday was spent at home. Hubby was home but he was really sore. His back has been bothering him for days so he's been walking around like a 90-year old man. Still he asked me if I wanted to do something, meaning go somewhere. How could I even think of doing that when he's in pain like that? So we stayed home bugging each other and watching some shows. I even took a short nap while he read something. The little one...busy tinkering with her books and gadgets.
 
Anyway, here's wishing everyone a good week ahead. Hopefully it will be a stress-free week for all of us [wishful thinking?]. If not, just make the most out of it. Yes?

Nawa'y maayos ang iyong Martes. Ako dito ay ok lang. After a gloomy and rainy first half of the day, it seems to be clearing na and mr. Sun is trying hard to come out.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
