While the little one and I were having breakfast this morning she couldn't help herself and said that because of the 'grey hair' I have as well as the wrinkles and brown spots on my face, I almost look like a grandma already. Can you say OUCH? I could have said ouch but I didn't. I didn't get mad either or offended. I've long embraced my grey hair. I can easily go to a saloon and have it dyed but I choose not to...for now anyway. As for the wrinkles, they don't bother me at all. The brown spots...they've been there since forever so I'm used to them already. So what was my 'comeback' to my very honest daughter? I just told her that those things don't really bother me. That I'm glad I'm getting old because the alternative to that is being dead. It's almost here...yay! I've been in and out of here trying to compose something but I've been unsuccessful. Hopefully I'll be able to finish this one. Things have a bit busy around here but we're surviving. Hubby's still very busy at work while I was also busy preparing some paper works for a job prospect as well as for passport renewal. The documents for the job were sent in late last week while we went to have the passport renewal/application yesterday. Something happened during the application yesterday which rubbed me the wrong. I'm still thinking if I should post about it or not. I actually wrote something about it earlier but decided to delete it. Maybe I'll write about one day. Anyway, aside from job related stuff there was also some family-related happening. Hubby's older brother had a heart attack and he's only 50. It was something unexpected because he's an active person and doesn't have any excess weight. So what gives? Hi

After a few years of no communications I was finally able to get in touch with an older cousin who now lives comfortably somewhere in Europe. She actually first resided here in the US but married a European so she decided to move there. She's much older than me and she and her husband are close to retiring already. She learned that I live in the sunshine state so she tried to find a way to contact me because they want to find something to invest in here in my neck of the woods, well, sort of. She wants something down south actually. I am now about to her  this site for miami condos to see if this is what she's looking for. She told me they want to something they can go to for vacations so I'm thinking that a condo will be perfect for them. I'm trying to convince her to get something closer to me but I can't really press it because we are also thinking of moving somewhere else in the future. When I say somewhere, I mean far, far away from here.
