Busy Bee

...and that would be me! It's been a while since I last posted here...and I've been saying that in every post I think. It's just that I've been occupied with other things so I haven't had the chance to sit down and write without being interrupted. Mind you, this blog is not the only thing I've been neglecting so to speak. I guess I need some lesson in time management? Anyway, one of the things I've neglected for so long now is my guitar. I used to have it in my office so I could just pick it up when I'm not busy but that didn't work so I moved it in the bedroom. That worked for a while because I was able to pick it up every morning after my morning exercise but that has come to a halt as well. I may not have the best sounding acoustic guitar but I love that guitar because it was the husband's first Christmas gift to me. He's been bugging me to play it from the day he gave it to me but I could only do that occasionally. I really have to start playing it more to hone whatever skill I have or I may just lose them, eh? Hopefully I'll be able to play more in the coming days.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. đŸ˜• It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
