Oprah Winfrey is Getting Her OWN Network!

Like she's not busy enough, she's now the proud owner of...OWN as in Oprah Winfrey Network. Yep, she's done it again. Can she get any richer after this?? Oh well, I guess there are still a lot of avenues that she still wants to explore and owning her very OWN network is of them. Actually, she used to be part of Oxygen. But she begged off after realizing that they're not on the same page. She used to have a show there....Oprah after the Show or something like that.

Anyway, she's probably trying to prepare in case, just in case, she doesn't feel like renewing her contract for the Oprah Winfrey Show come 2011. Can you imagine life without her show? No more "Oprah's Favorite Things"!

So be prepared, be ready because the big "O" is going to conquer television. Oh wait, she already did that. I meant as an OWNer of her very OWN network!

I like watching Oprah's show, I sometimes hurriedly go home after work to catch her show and Rachael Ray also. haha

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather?
