Thanks to all of you who left me messages about my lovely swollen face..LOL. I thought of dropping by here first before I start my busy day to write an update on this very exciting event of my life. Bwa hahahaha.....

The swelling went down already so I 'think' it's getting better. The husband looked at it before he left for work. Can you believe I can't really tell if it's swollen or not by just looking at it? I was looking at it the whole day yesterday and I can barely see the difference....but my husband saw it right away.

Anyway, it's still a wee bit itchy so it's just probably an insect bite. Not sure what kind of insect though since I don't see a lot of insects here except some fruit flies.

Hopefully my face will be back to normal soon. I can't go out of the house with a swollen face, can I? Oh wait...I DON'T go out of the house. Bummer!!

Glad it's a little better now. Don't scratch! lol. And yes, try avoiding getting out of the house :D

WHAT?! How could I miss your face swollen day? You see all the things I miss because of my work (or being lazy ehhehe).

Anyway hope your swelling would go away and a great weather for the rest of the year.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
