It's been one busy year for us as far as travelling is concerned. I'm not really into that but for some reason, I'm getting the hang of it...going on long road trips. I used to get motion sickness when I was younger. I wouldn't say I outgrew it because I was still having it when I was already teaching and that's why I never liked taking trips. Unfortunately, the little one took after me. She has somehow got over that already, thanks to the trips we've been taking, but I still remember when an hour drive would make her nauseated already. I still carry anti-nausea medicine with me wherever we go just in case. Anyway, the first time we went on a long road trip was when we went to North Georgia in September 2012. The trip was about an 8-hour drive from where we live so it's indeed a long drive. We went there on 2 separate occasions and it's within that same month. I thought we'd go back to GA again but we haven't yet. There are still plans to visit

It's been a while since I last posted. I must say it's not because of the lack in attempts because I have several drafts in my folder to dispute that. The drafts though are all unfinished. Why? It's either I got disrupted by work or I just couldn't finish it one way or another. But I'm here now. So what had happened since my last post? Not much actually. I've been trying to keep myself occupied with work mostly but I still get a bit bored most days. It used to be that surfing online would keep my entertained I don't know why but I feel like I need to go on a vacation...even if we just came back from a month-long vacation a couple months ago. I guess stress is getting into me somehow that's why I want to have a get-away. I actually miss home. I don't know what triggered it but it started a couple of weeks ago. Yep! That's my nose coming back from hiatus. It's been on vacation mode for years! Haha! And yes, my nose is really that big. Ask my husband and he'd tell you. LOL. Anyway, I'm of course speaking figuratively. My big nose still sits on my face all these years but that's all it was doing. I haven't been able to use it for its main purpose for such a long time that I learned to live without it...most of the time anyway. I would get it, a whiff if you may, once in a while but it doesn't last long enough for me to even enjoy a meal. I got by but it wasn't fun definitely. Anyway, I've had it back for more than a week now. I still have some more tests that need to be done and I'm not looking forward to them. Hopefully nothing drastic needs to be done to keep my sense of smell or I won't be a happy camper. As for now, I'm just trying to enjoy tasting and smelling the foods I can get my hands on.
