~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A good friend of mine is a school administrator in Los Angeles, California. One of her jobs is to come up with good fund raising events for their school. She is always looking for experienced California event planners to help her come up with a flawless events. Right now she is busy preparing for their summer event so I’m sure she’s all over the place again. I admit I am not much of an event planner myself so if I have to plan an event like my friend, I’ll make sure to visit Innovative Entertainment. They have been planning events since the early 80s and they have planned for all kinds of events one can ever imagine…from weddings, to dances to concerts. Hmmm….maybe I will call my friend and tell them about this place. Why didn’t I think of that right away?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yes, the actor, is sentenced to 3 years in prison on tax federal charges . It took almost the whole day today to come up with this sentence. Of course his lawyers are asking for no jail time with no fine. Helllloooo??? Snipes is blaming everyone else but himself with his tax problems. Why? He doesn't know what he signs? Anyway, he was acquitted of some other similar charges. I guess he is not so lucky this time. His co-defendants will be sentenced later on a later date. One is facing up to 10 years while the other one may get up to 6 years. Hopefully, a lot of other famous people can learn from this. At least be aware of their financials....geez.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ummm no...my little girl didn't tell me that. This is actually a title of a book that's creating some noise. I've read about it earlier this week in one online celebrity magazine and it caught my attention right away. I kinda' know that it will be one controversial topic. Why? Well, the book is about plastic surgery...and it's a kid's picture book. Yes, something that is written for bedtime stories[?]. It's written by a Plastic Surgery Doctor. The book is supposed to answer questions by kids who get confused with the physical changes in their moms after some tummy tuck or face lift or whatever lifts the moms undergo. The book is due right around Mother's Day. Timing, eh? Of course the book is getting mixed reviews as there are still a lot of people out there who are not sold to the idea of going through cosmetic surgery. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ With our impending move to another city, we have no choice but to find other health service providers for the whole family especially for our little one. I am not looking forward to that because our little one has had this same pediatrician eversince she was born. I’m sure we would find another one with no problem. One thing I am not sure about though is if her pediatrician has a practice management software . I am really hoping she does because I want our little one’s records transferred to her new pediatrician the as soon as we find one. If all doctors have this kind of software by VirMedice, then our changing of doctors will be a lot easier as the records of our little one can be transferred with a flick of finger…er, click of a mouse is more like it. Besides, the records will be kept safe from any kind of natural disaster…and that counts a lot.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just writing a quick entry here to let you know I'm still alive and kicking. I am looking into a very busy Thursday as I have to do some chores ....so what else is new, right? I forgot to write about our last visit to the house the past weekend. The drain field was in place for inspection when we went there. The husband went to the site this week and he said that they finally buried it which means it passed Health Dept. inspection. Yay! Yesterday, the dirt was being leveled already which means the sod will be next. We have an appointment to pick out the appliances this weekend. Here the appliances are part of the contract when having a house built so when we do the walk-thru the appliances will be in placed. We can upgrade if we want to, of course that means we would have to pay the difference upfront. Walk-thru is the time when we walk-thru the house [haha] to see if there are some things that need fixed before we move in. If we do that right...
