Justice Served!

Steven Bartlett, the builder that screwed us and 100+ families is found guilty of Grand Theft of more than $100,000 although in reality, he took more than $1 Million - close to $1.6 Million - from all of us combined! I cannot put into words how happy I am that this man finally got what he deserves. He is now in jail awaiting his sentencing on April 16, 2008 and he may get up to 30 years in jail. Serves him right!

The trial only lasted for 3 weeks. It was really fast because the case against him is really strong. The jury deliberated for 6 hours before deciding that he is indeed GUILTY! I am hoping and praying that he gets the maximum!

Medicare Supplemental Insurance

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Peace of mind is probably one of the greatest gifts one can ever have. This is especially crucial for those who are in the twilight years of their life. One of the things that these people worry about is health insurance which is very understandable since healthcare is the most important need for them at that stage. True that Medicare is available for senior citizens but this is not enough. A supplemental insurance is needed and this is what Mature Health Center offers to mature consumers. One of the Medicare solutions that Mature Health Center offers is the medicare part d. It is a drug program that covers prescription drugs that mature consumers more often need. So if you or someone you know has questions on supplemental insurance go to Mature Health Center and find all the answers you need. It will be your first step towards that peace of mind.
Great Friday....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This week has been kind of exhausting and exciting for us. After some bad weather, a power outage and a little girl with a slight fever, I can say that our Friday couldn't be better.

The weather today has been nothing but nice. No power outage to report which means I'm not going to worry about terrorist attack?? Lol. Then our little one is back to her old self. She only had a slight fever yesterday 'till about dinner time. After that she bounced right back. She was just so tired that she fell asleep on the couch beside Dad who was busy trying to figure his new phone. That's my girl. It's not unusual that she's only down for a day. She's got some strong immune system, I guess.

To cap it all up, I just read in the the news that Steven Bartlett, the owner of the Coral Bay Construction which screwed us of our hard earned money is found guilty!!! Now that is something to be happy about. After all the pain, both financially and emotionally, this man had put us through, it's high time he gets what he deserves.

Tell me, can my Friday get any better??? Of course....if my husband comes home with a 5-carat diamond...Lol...

Logo Pens

Last Christmas season, I asked my husband if they had any give-away to their customers. He said none. Hmmm….so I asked him why not? Well, first their business is still very young so the budget would not allow it. Second, they were quite busy towards the end of the year last year that they didn’t have the time to do that. Third, they just didn’t think about it. So I came up with a plan. I am going to look for something like logo pens that they can use as give-away to their customers. Aside from not being that pricey, it’s something that we all use. Now all I have to do is convince the husband that this is a good idea. What do you think?

This is a video of the inmates in Cebu which I first saw in Tet's CHISMIS blog. It's very entertaining so I thought I'd post it here as well. Enjoy.

Easy Online Payday Loan

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I used to work a full time job. I did that for more than 10 years. During those years, I made it a point to always take care of my financial obligations. I never missed payments on anything and I was even able to help my family in some ways, especially my parents. That was before. In 2001, I got married and had a baby soon after. My husband and I decided then that I will stay at home and take care of our little one myself. That has been the best decision we ever made. The only downside of that decision is on the financial side. Good thing there are places that give Payday Loan. I haven’t done it yet but it’s really good to know that if and when I am in a financial crunch, there are places I can go to.
I used to think thought that getting a Payday Loan is something very complicated. Not with Easy Online Payday Loan. No paper works need to be done. One only needs to meet 3 basic requirements to qualify for their Payday Loan. So if you are ever in some kind of a financial tight situation, visit Easy Online Payday Loan and see what they can do for you. I’m sure you will be happy with what they have to offer.
Exchanging Links.....Please READ
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I hope this will not be taken the wrong way BUT if anyone do take it the wrong way....Oh well!

Anyway, I get a lot of messages in my tag board about LINK EXCHANGE. I have no problem with that. As soon as I get the request, I usually add the blog to my blog roll right away..then let the blog owner that I indeed added his or her blog. My problem is this: Why don't I get the same in return???

I blog hop very often. I sometimes do it daily. So I know if my blog has been added or not. I am not asking my blogger friends to visit me when I do but if you ask me to add your blog, isn't it just fair that you do the same?

I added some blogs as long as a month or so ago. When I visit those blogs, my blog's name is not anywhere in the list. So what will I do about this? I will be deleting them in my blog roll if I see that my blog is still left out of the list. I will gladly add them back as long as my blog is added as well. That's not too much to ask for, is it?

I'm sorry but I am not going to waste my time adding blogs here when I don't get the same in return.

Sorry for the rant but I just feel that this has to be addressed sooner or later...like NOW...

4 More American Idol 7...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...were let go last night - Feb 28 2008. The guys did a much better job this week when it comes to song choices. A lot of the ladies were painful to watch so it was hard to predict who among them will be let go. Of course there were people who think that somebody else should have been cut off but hey...they had fans that voted for them. Like what they say always, if you want to see your 'idol' stay in the competition...vote!
The good news for us Filipinos is Ramielle Malubay made it again. She's now part of the top 16! So for those who are voting for her, keep on doing so.
Here are the pics of the 4 latest casualties of American Idol 7.
My Little Smiler....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Got tagged by Mommy Ruby earlier, thanks Mommy Ruby! Simple yet hard. Simple kasi the tag is just asking me to find pictures of my little one smiling and since she likes to smile a lot, I have bunches of pics of her smiling which makes it hard to choose the one I like the best...but I stepped up to the plate and chose 2 pics....Lol...

This is one is very familiar to all my regular visitors because this is what I have on my header. I just like her 'toothy' smile here

This second one was taken recently - Valentine's day I believe. See the her eyes? I have a picture probably at that same age as well where my eyes were exactly like that.

Let's tag some the Mommies...Emma, Nancy, Emzkie, Ritchelle, Wildcatlady29 and Darlene. C'mon Mommies and show us your little ones' priceless smiles.

No need to shell out hundreds of dollars for stylish pair of glasses like this one.

How the "Big Day" went....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our little girl is feeling a bit better. She's still not her usual self but she's really trying very hard to get on her feet because she wanted to put up something for Dad's birthday. So the whole day we were doing little things at a time. Here's what we did starting at around 1 PM...
-- blow up balloons
-- rest / TV/ make a card for Dad
-- blow up some more balloons
-- rest
-- tie balloons together
-- rest
-- put up the balloons and signs
-- rest
-- write something on the board
-- rest
As you can see "rest " is the keyword here...
This is the result of that...LOL...
Dad came home around 6:30. She jumped out saying happy birthday even if she still feels weak. She handed him our 'pretend' gift [read: it's the Blackberry phone my hubs got, it arrived today..LOL]. Some picture taking then we had dinner. Dad got busy reading his phones booklet but the little girl couldn't wait for the cake so we had the singing and the cake afterwards.
That's how my hubs BIG day went down....
Bed in a Box....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If there is one word we can describe how we’re scouting for the needed furniture in the new house, it would ‘minimalist’. Like I mentioned here, the house is not that big so everything that we choose should be retractable or small. This includes the beds because of the size of the bedrooms. Maybe a platform beds like this one will be a good idea for our bedroom.

It’s Thyme Bed with the folding Bench Footboard. I like the footboard because I sometimes like to rest my feet on something and I like the fact that I can fold it anytime I want if I need some space. Since I like it so much, I may just get it for our little one’s bedroom as well.

Sedona Method...Technique for a New Earth

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’d like to believe that your life is what you make it. If you choose to be miserable, then you will be miserable. If you choose to be happy, then you will be happy. I do believe that but sometimes I just can’t help it when things happen thus resulting to me being unhappy. Sometimes, the people around us and the people we care about can also make us unhappy. But should it be that way? Shouldn’t we be the one who should dictate ourselves if we should be happy or not? I have not read much about it, but the Sedona Method seems to getting really popular because of its teachings on this very same thing: Happiness. How I or you can be happy just by following the The Sedona Method like millions of people around the world. And in their want to spread this method all over the world, there are free DVD and CD available for everyone.
One of the books that the Sedona method author is recommending is called A New Earth; Awaking to Your Life’s True Purpose. The book is written by Echart Tolles and gives emphasis on what is known as presence awareness. The book shows how one can live life free of unnecessary suffering which in essence is also affecting other people. I still have to read more about this book and how Sedona Method can be the Technique for a New Earth but from what I have read already, I think this may just be the case.
What a Bummer...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So today is my dear husband's birthday. Our little one has been waiting and waiting for this day. As I wrote in my entry - Secret Birthday? - she's been trying to 'trick' Daddy about his birthday by pretending it's her birthday. She's very excited to say the least. She woke up when Daddy left for work this morning a few minutes before 4AM. Yes that early which only shows how excited she is.

Guess what??? She has a slight fever!!! I thought she felt warm this morning when we bid Dad bye bye so I took her temperature right after Daddy left. Lo and behold, it's 101.6. I gave her some Tylenol and we went back to bed. We woke a few hours later and she didn't feel like getting out of bed which is so unlike her. I gave her some breakfast and some more Tylenol.

She's really trying to get on her feet and even told me she's better now and that we can start preparing for Dad's big day. But when we were about to bake the cake she's been dying to bake, she told me she's laying down again. Sigh...Now she's on the couch watching her Disney shows.

Just like any other Mom out there, I fuss over her when she's not feeling well. I just wish it didn't happen today because she's been wanting to have a "party" for Dad [read: us being cooped up in her bedroom with balloons and a cake]. Oh well...I guess it's the way it is.

She's rarely sick. I mean in the almost 6 years of her life she's never had ear infection, never had a cough, had fever maybe 3x including today, had colds once. I am not exaggerating. The most serious one she had was some kind of an allergic reaction to something that resulted to her having some bumps on her body. We brought her to the doctor and she just told us it's probably something she ate. After a few days, the red spots were gone.

Anyway, I'm just mostly venting here. I have to do some work now while she's busy watching her shows. You all have a good day, ok?

Stands and Mounts

One of the things we are not taking with us when we move to our new house is the entertainment center we have here at our present home. It takes too much space and it will just be too crowded in the new house if we take it with us. The problem is we have our speakers resting on top the entertainment center now. So for us to be able to take the speakers with us, we have to find something like speaker mount that we can use to hold them. As I was browsing online, I came across this site called Stands and Mounts. They have a lot of mounts to choose from not only for speakers but also for other things. So now I bookmarked it because I have a feeling that we will use this site more than once. So the search for mounts is over. Now on to the next one….

Beware of Tax Rebate Scam!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This reminder is only for those who are residing in the US.
Since the stimulus tax or the tax rebate has been approved, some crooks thought it would be a good idea to scam people of their money. Yes, there are a lot of scams going on out there but I am writing about this one because it's probably the most famous one now since the rebate checks will be released in a few months - May 2008 is the target date.
How does the scam work? From what I have read already, emails and phone calls are the 2 most common ways the scammers get in touch with their would-be victims. By phone, they would usually ask for bank information saying that the rebate cannot be directly deposited if they don't have that information. By email, there's usually a link that they want you to click.
First, the IRS said that they would NEVER call or email and ask for information because they already have the information. All the tax payer have to do is to file the 2007 Tax Returns and they will get the tax rebate if the person is eligible for it.
Here is an article on CNN.com about this. Take the time to read it to make sure you don't fall for this scam. Some people already did so it's not impossible for someone else to fall for it as well.
Vegas Baby....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The first time I went to Vegas was in 1999. Well, that was also the last time. I had fun though because I went there with close friends whom I had not seen in years. I am not big on gambling though so when I went there I just enjoyed the Vegas hotel we booked. I heard a lot of things about hotels in Vegas like being over the top and such. Boy was I not let down. We rented the suite which was on the topmost floor and enjoyed the full view of Vegas baby. I still have plans in going back there one day I’m just not sure when.

Diamonds in Oysters???

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not too long ago, a diner found a pearl while having dinner at a restaurant in Florida. According to the news, the rare pearl can cost thousands of dollars if it’s sold. Isn’t that amazing? You know what could be more amazing? If diamonds actually come from oyster!! Like maybe a 5-carat diamond. I’m sure that if oyster actually produce diamonds, more people will be eating this food. I’m not sure about me though. I have not been a big oyster eater. I have had them cooked but never raw. I wish I can but I just can’t eat raw oyster, or any other raw food for that matter.
Having said that, I know a lot people that just love raw oyster, including my husband. And since we are in Florida, near the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf oysters are plentiful. So I am really glad to have come across a website called Be Oyster Aware. It has a wealth of information on anything and everything about oysters. One thing that really made me kind of concern about the consumption of raw oysters is the possibility of getting Vibrio vulnificus infections. With this information that I read, I’m sure that I wouldn’t be trying raw oyster anytime soon. Well, that may change if diamonds are actually coming out of oysters.
The Pastor's A*s
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won. The
pastor was so pleased with the donkey that he entered it in the race again, and it won again. The local paper read:

PASTOR'S ASS OUT FRONT

The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity
that he ordered the pastor not to enter the donkey in another race. The next day, the local paper headline read:

BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR'S ASS.

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the
pastor to get rid of the donkey. The pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent. The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline the next day:

NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN.

The bishop fainted. He informed the nun that she would
have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for $10. The next day the paper read:

NUN SELLS ASS FOR $10

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the nun to
buy back the donkey and lead it to the plains where it could run wild. The next day the headlines read:

NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE

The bishop was buried the next day.

The moral of the story is....being concerned about public opinion can bring you much grief and misery...and even shorten
your life. So be yourself and enjoy life... Stop worrying about
everyone else's ass and you'll be a lot happier and live longer.

Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.

Cheers!!!

We Survived....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...the power outage, the tornado, the storm! Well, I'm exaggerating here a bit...LOL. The power outage was a much bigger issue than what I anticipated. It's the headlines in most of our local news programs this evening. Where we're at, power was only out for about 30 minutes but other places had no power for hours. They are now saying it's some kind of a malfunction in or around the nuclear plant. About 3,000,000 were affected by this malfunction.
As for the weather, we were on tornado watch as well as storm watch since late this afternoon. It's mostly rain, thunders and lightning here. No tornado [thank goodness]. Anyway I'm off to Lalaland. I would like to thank those who left me messages on the tag board as well as comments in my entries. Your concern is very much felt and appreciated.
Easter Treats....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Last week, we received an Easter card which serves as an invite for an Easter picnic. It’s from my sister-in-law and the picnic will mostly be just family. Even if it will only be family there, I know that we still have to buy some things for the picnic. Since my husband is very busy at work, it would be up to me to do the shopping. And shopping for me is online shopping of course. So now I am on hunt for some online shopping coupons that I can use for my shopping spree…LOL.

Where do I turn to in times of needs like this one? Where else but Coupon Chief! They have all kinds of coupons for both online and onsite stores everywhere. So I went to their website…and voila…I found some webclothes.com coupon codes which I can use for our little one’s outfit. Not only that, I also saw some target coupon codes that I can use to buy the stuff we will need for the picnic itself. How cool is that? Now I can say that we’re ready for Easter. Sort of.

After the Outage...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
....we are now under tornado watch!! Then storm watch until tonight. What a day. Right now it's just raining continuously. The husband is at work and called a few minutes ago to check on us. He said that it's been hailing where he's at. Hailing??? in Florida??? I guess it happens here but I have never seen it.
I'm off to fix our dinner. I am turning off my toy because I'm afraid the lightning will get it...hehe...
Blackbox Network Services
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is our new house....

Yes, it’s not done yet but it’s almost there. There is still a lot to be done but like I said, we’re happy that something is finally taking shape after 4 long years. Anyway, my husband is making sure that there is progress every week. Everything is being done by the contractor and the sub-contractors except some wiring for the house which my husband is doing himself. So he’s been scouting online stores for things like CAT6 and other cables and wires that I am not certain about. He was able to get some of the materials already but I know he needs some more so I would have to tell him about Blackbox Network Services. I’m sure he will be thrilled that I found it.

Scary World we Live in...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's right...what a scary world we live in. Why? I just wrote an entry about the power outage we had at 1:00 PM which lasted for 30 minutes. I did not know what caused it, I thought it was just some cables being knocked down because of the strong winds we've been having since this morning. In other words noting serious, for me anyway.
Anyway, as I was browsing Yahoo News I came across an article on the real reason of the power outage. It was because a South Florida nuclear plant automatically shut down. It affected the whole state so it's on Yahoo. I didn't expect it to be on the national news but that's now what made me say that the world we live in is scary. It's this line in the article that got into me:
Terrorism? Wow...I'm just amazed how even a simple power outage nowadays is being equated with terrorism. Yes, I am aware that terrorism is a great concern of today but I just miss the days when a power outage is just a power outage. What has our world become into? Sad...
A Gift for HIS birthday....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As I mentioned in one of my entries yesterday, my husband’s birthday will be this week. Guess what? I still don’t have a gift for him. Arrgggh! So up until today I am still on the look out for something I can give him. I know it’s going to get here after his birthday but hey, it’s better late than never, right? Anyway, in one of my searches I came across this site called Jewelry Elegance. Tthey have men's jewelry…bunches of them actually. My husband is not big on jewelry but I may have found something for him. This one!

Yes, it’s a keychain. A very nice one at that. I just realized while I was looking the different jewelry on this site that my husband doesn't have one like this. So I may just get it for him. For now....I can say that: Mission Accomplished!

Power Outage.....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We just had a power outage! It started at 1 PM EST and lasted for about 30 minutes. It was so quiet here for that 30 minutes. I forgot how that sounds because even if the TV or the radio is off, I still hear the fridge and the AC humming.
Anyway, I called the husband and told him about the outage. His suggestion?? Call them and tell them your mother-in-law is on ventilator. LOL...First, I don't have a mother-in-law because she passed when hubby was a toddler. I have a step-mother-in-law though who we don't really get to see because she's in Maryland or Delaware or somewhere else. Anyway, hubby is not close with her for various reason so we never really had any kind of a relationship except for the occasional cards here and there. So when he told me that I just started laughing.
Anyway, I just got back online. What did I do for the 30-minutes that the power was out??? Folded laundry!!! Yippee....it's a big laundry day today because I am washing everything...including me. Haha...
It's Raining AWARDS!!!!
This cute butterfly is for: Lena, Ruby, Wildcatlady29 and Gracie. Please come pick up this simple 'thank you' from yours truly! Cheers!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Here are the awards/tags passed on to me by those wonderful ladies. Let me share these to Nancy, Ritchelle, Mommy Emma, Emzkie and Denz. I'm sure some of you have some of these. But if you don't have them yet, please feel free to post them in your blogs.

Going to Europe???

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am not big on traveling. But if and when I travel, I want it to be well planned. I don’t want to be caught off-guard especially if I am in a foreign country. As soon as I know the details of the trip, I start checking on flights, accommodations, car rentals and other things. My husband has websites bookmarked on our computers so it’s kind of easier to plan. But it’s always nice to find new sites like Car Rental Bookers. It helps those who want to see Europe book the cars they need. So if you have plans to travel in Malta, Car Rental Bookers is the place for you.
Fidel Castro Stepped Down....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

...as Cuba's president after almost half a century in power. His brother, Raul Castro, took over as the next president. Actually, he took over more than a year ago when the 81-year old got ill. This illness is also the reason why the older Castro decided to step aside. Some people would probably say...finally! But...is there really a difference whether he stepped down or not? His brother is taking over! It's like one and the same!

Anyway, this somehow reminds me of the Marcos regime in the Philippines. If the regime was not overthrown in 1986, it is very possible that we would probably have a Philippine president now who is another Marcos or maybe a Romualdez. Is that bad?? Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. When the Marcos regime was in place, the Filipino people were in poverty. Now that there no Marcos in place, the Filipino people are STILL in poverty. Sad but true....

Find Your Partner.....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’ll be honest here. There was a time in my life that I didn’t really care about online dating. As a matter of fact, I even told a friend of mine [who was trying it out] that I just didn’t believe on this ‘new trend’ of meeting a possible wife or husband online. That was about 8 years ago. I am now married to a guy who I would say is, as cheesy as it may sound, my soul mate. Where did I meet him? Online! Yep, I ate and swallowed and almost choked on my own words. Find My Partner Online Dating is an online site that is now gaining momentum in the online dating community. The site is an honest to goodness place for those who are looking for a partner in life and for life. Right now, they are offering free lifetime membership to their new members. So if you are still searching for that one special person to share your life with, check FindMyPartner.com. Who knows you may just find your soul mate there…as cheesy as it may sound.
'Secret' Birthday???
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Every time my or my husband's birthday comes along, our little one gets pretty excited. Of course she also gets excited about her own birthday. But when it's either my or my husband's birthday, she really likes to 'surprise' the celebrant. Her way of surprising us though is kinda' funny.

Funny in what way you may ask? She pretends that it's HER birthday! Why? So we won't know it's our birthday! And she's pretty serious about it also. My husband's birthday is this week. As soon as February rolled in, she's been telling me about surprising Daddy. Then she keeps telling Daddy that her birthday is coming up! Of course we're going along on the pretend birthday. She doesn't know that the trick's on her. Last week she got worried because Dad asked her if she's excited about 'her' birthday this week. She said yes but as soon as she got the chance she started telling me that she thinks Daddy really thinks it's HER birthday and the HE might get HER a birthday card and that she really tricked Daddy. LoL!!!

This weekend we went grocery shopping. I picked one of those ready to bake cake mix...it's a chocolate cake. As soon as I got it, she started getting worried because Dad's favorite cake is carrot cake and not chocolate cake but that we can't get carrot cake because Dad was with us and it will ruin the surprise. So the whole day Sunday, she kept asking Daddy is he likes chocolate cake.

Last year we had a "birthday party" for Daddy in her bedroom. Nothing fancy. Just some balloons on the floor, a birthday banner, a little decor here and there and a birthday cake. This year she's thinking of doing the same thing. I guess we will have a 'birthday party' for Daddy in her tiny bedroom then. Here she was last year singing Happy Birthday to Dad!

About Your Money...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back where I grew up, life is really simple. Majority of the people in our community did not have bank accounts, credit cards, insurance policies or a vehicle of their own. This is still true up until today. People there still pay everything in cash or get small credits in variety stores if they don’t have the money. People there thrive and they only worry very little. That is the kind of life that I really want, simple and worry-free. But I am no longer in that place and where I am, life is much more complicated. I guess complication came from the fact that I grew up.
Since I grew up and I now live in a place where life is so different, I need to do some adjustments if I want to survive. Things are done differently where I am right now. Like the need for Credit Cards. Yes, I use ‘need’ because I was told it’s important to have a good credit history. Aside from credit cards, car insurance is another must-have nowadays. Of course since we drive our own car then Car Insurance is a necessity. Both these things are new to me so I really need to research them before I apply for both. This is how I found “About Your Money”.
“About Your Money” is an online comparison service where customers can go to, well, compare any personal financial service like credit cards and insurance. One can find things like Home Insurance Quotes at this site. That means there is no need to visit different home insurance company websites because “About your Money” probably has the information one needs. By using this site, one will not only save time but most of all, money. And just like what this site says, it’s your money, it’s your choice.
Matt Damon Vs. Ben Affleck
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Not too long ago, Matt Damon made a video with comedienne Sarah Silverman. It's supposed to be a surprise for Jimmy Kimmel [who's dating the comedienne] on his birthday but got pushed back because of the writers' strike. Anyway, the video was kind of racy but funny I should say so I am not posting it here as I try to make this blog GP. If you want to see it, just go here.

As a retaliation, Jimmy Kimmel announced that he was preparing a video as well...and now it's done. Guess who's with him in the video?? Yep, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon's BFF...and Brad Pitt... and Harrison Ford...and Cameron Diaz...and other big stars...they even got Josh Groban in on it. They made some kind of a 'We are the World' video and they had some big names in it. Again the video is not suitable for anyone who doesn't like a bit of vulgarity. Watch it here.
