The Law of Return....

Since it's almost the start of a new year [at least here in the West since they already started it in the East], I decided to post this Law of Return. May it serve like Food for Thoughts that we can ponder upon as the new year begins. Have a safe New Year's Eve and a Prosperous 2008 to one and all!!!! This piece came from Jokes of the Day email I get. Whatever you give away today, or think or say or do, will multiply about tenfold, and then return to you. It may not come immediately nor from the obvious source, but the law applies unfailingly through some invisible force. Whatever you feel about another, be it love or hate or passion, will surely bounce right back at you in some clear or secret fashion. If you speak about someone a word of praise or two, soon tens of other people will speak kind words to you. Our thoughts are products of the soul, not secrets of the brain, kind ones bring us happiness, petty ones untold pain. Giving works as surely as reflections in a mirror,

More and more buzz is being created about different online casinos. Of course, the buzz is usually a positive one. Something along the line of: This online casino is the best of all online casinos. Instead of playing the games, time is spent just trying to look for the best one. Why not cut the chase and visit Pro360. It has all the things you need if you’re looking for an online casino. Pics by the Little One....

Image
Like I mentioned in some of my Christmas/post Christmas entries, we gave the little girl her very own digital camera. Well, since she got the camera she's been on a mission. Take the pictures of everything and anything imaginable. Here are 3 of her work. Tell me what you think. Do we have a future professional photog in the house? The first pic is a blow-up of a her drawing of Mickey Mouse. Can you find Mickey? LOL... This second one is that same Mickey drawing but this time she decided to include the whole frame in the shot. This third pic is of her new 'teddy'. She's been wanting a brown one since who knows when. I have a white one which is the same size as this one but she wants a brown one. I guess it's more realistic since we normally see brown ones in pictures...hehe

Total Audio Converter

Image
Technology is a good thing. Really, it is. I just don’t like the complexity that goes with it. Sure the different developments are good but I just can’t wrap my mind around some of the developments sometimes like converting a WAV file into an MP3. Well, my husband can do that for me but he’s not always at my disposal because he is working after all. So where to do I find something that does Total Audio Converter so I wouldn’t have to depend on him so much? Are they affordable? Yes, they are. I found one that’s less than 20 bucks and it does everything. Cooutils.com has a Total Audio Converter that’s very affordable. It converts any audio file that you may have to the audio format that you want it to be. It even rips CD and you can even use it if you want to listen to songs. That means that you can listen to the file before or after you convert it so you won’t be converting the wrong one. My husband has songs which he had from the 90s. He has been wanting to convert them to MP3 but he

Traditions for the New Year...

My katukayo, Lucel Juliana , handed me down this time bomb...I mean time-sensitive tag. So now I'm trying to beat the deadline so it won't explode on my hands. I have to get rid of it ASAP...don't want to be starting my 2008 with BANG....literally. Hehe....thanks, Tuks . Let me tag: Darlene , Emma , Nancy , Roselle , Texas Sweetie-Anne , Ritchiela , Michelle and Norm . Ladies, come over here and get this before the time is up. Let's see who will have this one explode in her care....bwa hahaha.... The Big Question: What are some of your new year’s good luck traditions? Rule: Copy the person and persons’ names that sent it to you and add your own at the bottom of the list. It really helps to build community. Lets start it here! *My mom used to collect some coins and when the new year comes she put the coins in a bowl and shake it to create sounds. She said its good luck for money throughout the year. And also wearing dotted dresses on new year don’t know why. CC / chalyz

Image
In a few hours 2007 will be part of history and 2008 will make its grand entrance. Like they say, a New Year, a new beginning. Blog of the "Year" I mean "Month" Award...

Image
What a nice surprise to wake wake up to. A blogger friend whose blog makes me hungry everytime I visit, D'Cooking Mudra aka C.A. "tque", handed me this 'blog of the month' award. So I went an extra mile and awarded ME the Blog of the Year....hehe. Seriously, I want to thank D'Cooking Mudra for this award. It's a nice way to end my 2007. Now, who wants this award? You? You? How about YOU? Just snag this and let me know so I can take it away....I meant....I can take a peek.

Smorty...pays you to BLOG

As the year 2007 comes to an end, I can’t help but think of all the good things that happened to me. Yes, the good things. There are bad things as well but what good will it do if I keep thinking about the bad things. I want to dwell on the good instead of the bad. So let me start with one that not only gives me personal and intellectual satisfaction but also some financial gains. It is this year that I discovered about blog advertising . I have been reading blogs since the early part of the year but it’s only mid year that I contemplated in starting my own. I am thankful to a lot of people for being there when I started it because I really did not have any idea what I was doing. For those who are not familiar with it. This thing called blog advertising is when ordinary bloggers like yours truly get the chance to write opinions on products or services and gets paid for it. This what a lot of bloggers do now…they get paid to blog . It’s really quite simple. You start a blog then mainta

Hannah Montana Craze????

There is no doubt that " Hannah Montana "a.k.a. Miley Cyrus , is probably the flavor of the season especially to young kids - tweens and teens alike. But to lie about something as serious as 'death' just to score some tickets is just going over the top. I just read in the news today, that a family of a 6-year old wrote an essay about her father dying in Iraq! The kicker? It was all made up - it's all a big fat LIE in other words - so the girl can win the contest sponsored by a store - Club Libby Lu. The grand prize was a makeover which included a blond Hannah Montana wig and the most coveted concert ticket of year, Hannah Montana tickets. Well, the girl WON but upon doing some investigating, it was learned that no such person died in Iraq, much less the father of the 6-year old girl. Now, I'm all for doing everything I can to make our little girl happey...but making up a story about her FATHER DYING is just beyond comprehension. Needless to say, the prizes

New England Patriots Made History

Image
Yes, they did. They, New England Patriots , beat the New York Giants [38-35] and became part of sports history with a standing of 16-0 during the regular season. This is the second time that a team wrapped up the season [well, before the playoffs anyway] with no loss. In 1972, Miami Dolphins [unfortunately, one of the teams this season with few wins] set this same record of no loss , 14 - 0, the Dolphins eventually went to win the SuperBowl that year. Now, Brady's mission is to do the same thing...win the Superbowl XLII . It's not like he's never done it before. He has 3 rings already so earning another one is a big possibility. It was a very close game as the Giants played one of their best games ever. Tom Brady had to go back in the game to be able to make the win. It was well worth it though because they did what only 1 team accomplished so far, a regular season of only wins and no losses. They are the first though to have a record of 16 wins because in 1972, there a

1800 No Drugs...Helping Eliminate Drug and Alcohol Addiction

Image
Reading the news has always been a part of my daily routine eversince I was in college. It just kind of stuck with me after taking a class in Current Events. I read all sorts of news from Entertainment to Politics to the local news. The one news I really don’t want to come across with is the news about someone committing a crime because he or she is intoxicated or high on something. A good example would be those who are caught driving under the influence. They not only put themselves in danger but also those who are on the road with them. From what I have been reading, in America alone, 23 Million people are in need of treatment for some form of a substance abuse but less than 10% of these abusers actually seek the help they need. Why is that when there is drug treatment available to them? Because some people just wouldn’t admit that they have any substance abuse problem. I know because I have immediate family members who battled either drug or alcohol addiction or both. Let me tell y

Mobile Advertising???

Hmm..interesting. After blog advertising, now comes Mobile Advertising . Yes, advertising using your cellphone. Well, this is still very much into its beginning stages but it has potentials, don't you think? They are saying that 80% of Americans alone, have cellphones so I won't be surprised if this so-called Mobile Advertising actually explodes in a few months. I guess I would have to activate my cellphone again so I can take part on this new 'thing' in town. How does it work? Well, right now a wine company offers discounts to their products if you snap and send them a picture of of their ads in newspapers. And a company called, SnapTell Inc . is the one helping different merchants on doing this kind of advertising. Simple eh? So, are you in or are you out? Me? Not quite sure yet. I'll see where it leads then maybe, just maybe, I will join in. Fair enough? Source: Yahoo News

Asteroid to Hit Mars in January 2008?

Image
Remember this post I did a few days ago about the possibility that Mars will be hit by an asteroid in January 2008? Well, the chance of the asteroid hitting Mars is now increased by 4%! Last week, the asteroid known as nondescript 2007 WD5 had a chance of 1-in -75 to hit Mars but just this week the odds are increased to 1-in-25. Now that is a big chance that Mars will have an impact on January 30, 2008. Exciting? Probably. Some people are actually thrilled or excited while hoping that the cosmic smash happens as predicted. As long as it has no impact to our dear Earth, then it's okay. I don't think those who are excited about this cosmic event will be as excited if the asteroid is actually hitting our home. Cheap and Good Quality Ink at Inkers

Image
More often than not, when a computer is in the house, a printer is not too far away. If printers were very expensive before, nowadays most of them are cheap, that is if they don’t come free with the computer. If it’s cheap or free, then it would be a good thing, right? Not quite. The real kicker happens when you ran out of ink. The branded inks cost too much most of the time that it would probably be better if you just buy another printer. But what would you do with the printers that you will accumulate? You probably don’t have to resort in buying printers instead of buying ink. You see, there is way in getting ink at a much cheaper price compared to the branded products and the quality of it is just as good as the more expensive ones. Inkers has the inkjet cartridges that you may need for your printer or multi-purpose printer, copier, scanner and fax machine. That’s what we have actually, a multifunctione one. When we ran out of ink the first time, we looked in the stores for the in

Yeah...Santa Got Me Something after All....

Image
Earlier today someone knocked on the door. I was not expecting any deliveries because I did not order anything and the mail man is too early to be knocking on my door. I didn't open the box right away because I couldn't find as to who it's for. So I called the husband and asked him if he placed any order at Zappos, and his answer? MAYBE. Lol....isn't that a safe answer? Anyway, he asked me to open the box and see what's inside. Well, as soon as I opened the box and saw the shoebox inside - FRYE - I started shrieking....hehe. Yep, he ordered the sandals I am wanting for quite a while now. I even made an entry in my Teacher's Corner blog about the sandals aptly titled: Sandals in my Wishlist . I didn't expect to get anything since we had no plans of givinge each other anything for Christmas because of the new house that will be built anytime now so it's really a pleasant surprise. He got me the Frye Lola Zigzag sandals... from Zappos . Yippee! The first pi

Corfu Island is a Place to Visit...

On Christmas day, while we're watching “A Christmas Story”, my husband was telling me how much he really wants to go on a vacation in the near future. It’s been years since we went on one and it’s not even a real vacation because it was spent visiting friends in another state. So we were both in agreement that the next time we go on a vacation, it would be a real vacation. It will be where we will relax and do some sightseeing as well. This is only 100% conceivable if we go to a place where we don’t know anyone so we won’t feel obligated to visit anyone. We can do the visiting some other time. So a vacation here in the states is not what we’re planning in doing. So where are going? We have some places in mind and one of them is Greece. Why Greece? Why not? Just by reading about this country makes it very enticing. Aside from that, my husband wants to satisfy his curiosity about this place. Now, I know that Athens is probably the most famous city there. But have you heard about Cor

Benazir Bhutto was Assasinated!

Image
Benazir Bhutto , a former Pakistan Prime Minister was assasinated minutes after she addressed thousands of her supporters. She was in the car already leaving the venue when her supporters at the gate started chanting their support for her. So she came out of the vehicle to acknowledge them. Tha's when an assassin shot her in the neck and body then blew himself up. Here's a picture of her waving at her supporters minutes before she was gunned down. Personally, I had a case of the deja vu when I read this news. Bhutto just returned to Pakistan on October 18, 2007 from an 8-year exile . Now, isn't that something similar to what happened to Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino in 1983? Ninoy Aquino was assassinated on his way back to the Philippines from 3 years of self-imposed exile here in the states....while he was still on the plane that brought him home for the last time. Aquino's assassination eventually brought down the 20-year Marcos regime and catapulting his wife'

Santa was [still is] in the House!!!!

Image
Yes, Santa did not leave the building...hehe. Here she is right after opening all her 'loots'. She's a wee bit camera shy...not! I posted a picture of her new camera below. Guess what's her favorite 'subject' for her shots??? Look below and you will see..... Yes....her very own face. She probably has about 10 of her own face in her camera. She just gets the kick out of it....LOL. And no, she's not allowed to take my picture when I'm in my moo moo....

Diamonds and Rolex....Girls Best Friends!!!

Image
My husband complains that it is very hard to buy me gifts for any occasion so he would usually tell me to just look for whatever I want and tell him about it or just order it and he’ll pay for it. For some, that may seem to be so not romantic but I have no problem with it. Right now, I have not chosen anything that can be qualified as a family heirloom like some kind of an estate diamond jewelry but one day, I would want to own a few pieces and I may just start with this set of emerald bracelet and necklace. I am planning on passing this to my daughter in the future. Considering how elegant and pretty this kind of jewelry is, at Gray and Sons, it is sold at a very affordable price. Aside from their estate jewelry, they also sell rolex watches . These are pre-owned but they are restored at mint conditions so they really look like they are brand new. I have always wanted to own one but I just couldn’t afford a brand new one. But with Gray and Sons, my life-long wish of owning one may ju

It's the Day after Christmas....

Image
So it's the day after Christmas...what's everyone up to today? My hubby is back at work so it's just me and our little one here again. I'm still blogging [didn't really take a break] and our litte girl just finished her morning school works. She's now busy tending to her 'sick' teddy...it's running a fever so she made some "soup" to make it feel better better...aha!!! She got this new digital camera for a Christmas present and as of 12 noon today, she already took about 200 pics....inside the house! I am posting some of her 'precious pics' here which she took yesterday. Here's her new toy.....the battery is almost gone but she's still snapping away. Some of her 'loots'....a Vtec educational computer and her Raggedy Ann tea set. The Barbie computer is her old one. She's mastered almost all of the things there so we got her the Vtec which has more stuff in it. The last 2 pics are of the 'pumpkin bread' I b

Cash Advance at Your Fingertips....

The season of giving is over. All the excitement about the holiday season is slowly going down. For some, the reality of overspending is now starting to sink in. Unfortunately, Christmas season is really the time that people tend to overspend. Who can blame them when every store imaginable has a sale going on during the holiday season? Everyone gets caught in the moment so to speak. Unfortunately, as soon as the holiday cheer is over, the post holiday fear starts. Questions we didn’t think of asking ourselves when shopping start to creep up on us…like: How will I pay for all these bills from my Christmas shopping spree? For some the answer may come easier than others. Borrow money from your friends and family, maybe? Or going to those money lending services near you? I personally don’t want to do neither. I would rather find a place online where I can get a payday loan . I just don’t have the courage in asking people I know for a loan or getting in a long line of people who are in the

An Australian Trip is in the Works...

Image
One of the places that my husband wants to visit someday is Australia. He is very much interested in seeing the different places there like Melbourne and Perth that’s always being advertised. I have not been in Australia myself but I had some co-teachers who are Australian. They advised me that if and when I visit their country, I may want to find Melbourne Accommodation or Perth Accommodation other than hotels. My former roommate suggested I look into serviced apartments instead especially if I have family with me. So when my husband mentioned his future plans of visiting the “Down Under”, I told him about the serviced apartment like Astor apartments. He really likes the idea of staying in a serviced apartment like the ones below since it would be like a home away from home. If and when the time comes that we make it in Australia, it would probably for about a month or so. It won’t just be a week long stay because it’s going to be a once in every 10 years trip, so we will take adva

Award Time....

Image
Merry Christmas to me!!! So I was checking out the blogs of my friends who visited me while I was snoozing away. Well, being the night owl that she is, Ms. Roselle was busy handing out this award to her friends while I was in Lalala Land...."Your Blog is a Treasure!!", then my Lola Tess also handed me this just now! Really now, eh? Kidding...I know my blog is a treasure. Gosh, if I'm paid for every minute I spend on this blog, I would be millionaire over and over again. Isn't that right, Ms. Roselle and Lola Tess ?? Anyway, thanks much to you for the compliment. If only those "you know what" [clue: it starts with "P" and ends with a "P"] see what you see in my blog....then I'd probably be making the millions I'm supposed to be making. Ha! Since it's the season of giving, let me give it to you all my friends . Please grab it and put it on your blogs then let me know you have it up so I can take a peek. Okie dokie? Happy Ho

The Bourne Ultimatum

Image
Finally, after waiting for months, I was able to watch " The Bourne Ultimatum ". This film and "Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix" are probably the top 2 films I really wanted to see and now, I've seen them. Yay! I've read reviews of this film and just like any other film, it had some good and bad reviews. But the good reviews definitely outnumbered the not so good ones....and now I can see why. As expected, the film is full of action. Since Bourne Ultimatum is the 'last of the trilogy Bourne book' that Robert Ludlum wrote, a lot of the questions left hanging in the first 2 were answered in this film. Like his real name and why his memory was erased. Some characters from the first 2 films were cast also so it's not too hard to figure out who's who in the film. Is this really the last in the Bourne series? For now, maybe. In 2004, a book a book titled "Bourne Legacy" was published. It was not written by Robert Ludlum himself bu

Mailboxes Galore....

Image
When I decided to pursue my masters degree in Education, I had to quit my full time teaching job. To continue making money while going to school, I decided to become a freelance tutor where I had to go to my students’ houses to do the tutoring. The areas I covered are gated communities so they had big fancy houses. One of the first things I see is n the residences are the mailboxes . Some are located right in front of their manicured lawn while some are attached on the wall by the front door and some are attached on the gate. It seemed like the mailboxe s they chose for their houses is some kind of a statement…something like of a representation of themselves. Now that we are about to have a new house, I really don’t like to use the generic mailboxes that we see around here in our area now. I am looking at some residential mailboxes that will look just right in the neighborhood that we are moving in. Here are a couple of the ones we’re looking at right now. Aside from moving into a ne

20 Interesting Questions...

Tukayo, Lucel Juliana , tagged me on this 20 Interesting Westions...hmm...let's see if the answers I have for these questions are as interesting, eh? Instruction. Remove 1 question from below, and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 questions, then tag 8 people in your list, list them out at the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged. Whoever does the tag will have blessings from all. 1. At what age do you wish to marry? I’m married already but I never thought I’d get married. 2. What color do you like most? Any of the earth colors - brown, green etc. 3. If you have the chance, what would you probably say to your beloved one? Not sure actually . 4. Where is the place that you want to go the most? Right now, the Philippines. 5. Which part of you that you hate the most? My eyebrows. 6. When you encounter a sad moment, what would you do? Cry probably 7. What are you afraid to lose the most? Loved ones 8. If you win $1 million, what

Ready for Christmas???

It seems the answer to that question may differ from one person to another. When I was younger, being ready for Christmas was having a new dress with some new shoes so I would be ready come time to go around the neighborhood collecting 'aginaldo'. When I got a bit older it changed a little bit. It was being able to finish the 'nine dawn masses' or the misa de gallo. So it became more spiritual [religious maybe?]. I was always excited to attend them...and finishing the 9 masses was always an accomplishment. Nowadays, it seems that the meaning of Christmas I grew up believing in is no longer in existence in a lot of people's lives. When you ask someone now if she/he is ready for Christmas, more often than not the answer would be...No! Why? Because the first thing that comes to mind is the 'unfinished shopping'. Sad but true. Hopefully, this is just temporary and people would make a turn around and start to realize that the season is not only about gift and san

Giving is Better than Receiving...

Christmas is the season of giving. This is one very popular saying that seems to work during the holiday season. So during the season, we see a lot of people donating toys, money, food and their time to some worthy causes. You even see celebrities go to places serving food to the homeless. This is all good of course. But should giving be only done during the holiday season? Unfortunately, it seems to be the trend. It doesn’t have to be though. That’s why Boat Angel is around. This is an organization that accepts Charity Boat Donations which then sells the boats in Ebay to benefit some people who are in need of help through out the year all over the world. The money they make from selling the boats is used to produce Christian’s Children Animations on DVDs like this one. What do they do with these DVDs they produce? They send them as Free DVDs to any children that may want them. And when they say free, it’s really free including the shipping and handling. Now that’s giving, no strings

Like another Recall is what we need...

This time it's not a vaccine but something that we all consume....food. Remember the nationwide spinach broo haha?? Yes, there is another recall ...this time canned green beans. Just what we need. NOT!! Let me quote the article in Yahoo News so as not to write the wrong information here: New Era Canning Company said it was recalling 171 cases of GFS Fancy Blue Lake Cut Green Beans with the lot code 19H7FL . Each case contained six cans in 6-pound, 5-ounce sizes. The canned green beans were distributed to foodservice customers in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia , a company statement said. They were sold through GFS Marketplace stores in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. The beans may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, which can cause life-threatening illness or death, the company said. No illnesses have been reported to date. Image
My husband is very much into the Science Channel [and History Channel and the Discovery Channel...and the....should I go on? Nah]. Anyway, there are times that I would watch with him and it just never fails to amaze me how beautiful the outer space is. It may not happen in this lifetime, but I know that someday someone will be able to actually go in one of those planets to check it out. As I was browsing Yahoo today, I came across these pictures. They're not new pictures but they are still breathtaking. In the news, they are saying that Mars may just be hit by an asteroid next month, January 30 to be exact. The asteroid, 2007WD5 , is very similar to the one that hit Siberia in 1908 which had the power of a 15-megaton of nuclear bomb thus wiping 60 Million trees!! Wow! Anyway, here's a picture of Mars, the planet that glows. This pic wast taken Dec. 18. This picture is a a binary-star, or two-star, system, called HD 113766. This third picture is Saturn in 3 different views. I

Bad Credit Offers

Saying that having a bad credit is a nightmare is an understatement. Unfortunately, a lot of people are in this situation. As if having a bad credit is not enough, those who have it can’t seem to get ahead financially. It’s like being in a quicksand, it seems that the more you try to wiggle out of it, the deeper you get buried. So how can someone who has bad credit get back on his or her feet? Well, the first and probably the most important step is finding help as soon as possible. Instead of getting more loans to cover up the other loans, one who is in this situation should a go to a new consumer resource called BadCreditOffers.com. A lot of credit companies are actually in the waiting for those people who are filing for bankruptcy. This is because those who filed for bankruptcy are the most vulnerable. So they are barraged with numerous offers of credit from these companies. Sadly, some people fall for it therefore making their situation worse. At BadCreditOffers.com , one is given

Need to Sell Your House????

When we decided to buy a new house some years ago, the real estate industry is at its best so we were very confident that once the new house is finished, we would not have any problem in selling our current house. But as I have been mentioning here in my blog, our original builder filed for bankruptcy leaving us hanging by a thread. Unfortunatel, it was all downhill from there. The real estate industry since then went down so I’m not sure anymore what will happen with our current place when time comes that we need to sell it. So we’ve been reading and researching on the real estate business. I thought that it’s only in the states that home buyers are having difficulties. I didn’t know that home buyers in the UK are also in the same predicament. Yes, the real estate in the UK and us are probably in the same boat but home buyers in the UK like England or Scotland have the upper hand because they have Home Buyer Financial Solutions to help them. With this company, those who want to sell

Follow -Up on the Hib Vaccine Recall

Last week, I think, I posted in my other blog Teacher's Corner, about the recall of a Common Infant Vaccine for Hib . Now CDC is recommending that doctors delay in giving the booster shots for this vaccine until the supply for it improves. Here's a part of the news from Yahoo : The CDC, in consultation with the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians, now recommends health care providers temporarily delay routine Hib vaccine booster doses typically given at age 12 and 15 months until the vaccine supply improves. Although those children who are at high risk with Hib should not stop. So if you have a child scheduled for the booster shot, make sure to contact your doctor before your appointment so you can plan on the next step. If you're wondering what Hib is, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention it used to be the leading cause of bacterial meningitis in childre

Harry Potter and Bourne Ultimatum

Image
Since I don't have the chance to go to the movies, I make it a point to get the DVDs of the ones I really like.Of course, Harry Potter series is on top of my list. I've read all the books so I know what's in the movies more or less but it's still exciting to see the movie version because of all the cool things they show in the film like the fictional game of Quidditch. Anyway, I got to see the last installment of the HP Series. I like it but it's not as exciting as the others maybe because it's a grown up version already and they don't have the Quidditch game in this one. Oh well, maybe in the next 2 there will be but I don't recall reading the game anymore in the last 2 books but I maybe I just forgot. Here's Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix Cover Page. As for the Bourne series, I already have the DVD of the latest installment Bourne Ultimatum , BUT I'm forbiddent, yes FORBIDDEN, to watch it alone. You see, I had the mistake of telling hu

A Mens-Only Weight Loss Program ... A guy calls a company and orders their 5-day, 10 lb. weight loss program. A few miles later huffing and puffing, he finally gives up. The same girl shows up for the next four days and the same thing happens. On the fifth day, he weighs himself and is delighted to find he has lost 10 lbs. as promised. He calls the company and orders their 5-day/20 pound program. Medical Assistant Training Schools

One of my sisters in law is a dental hygienist. She’s been licensed for a number of years now and from what she told me, she actually attended an online school that offers medical assistant programs . That means that she didn’t have to leave her house in order to get her degree. Nowadays, there are a lot of online schools that offer different courses in the medical field but there are still many regular schools that do the same thing. Since there are a lot of medical assistant schools across the country, it’s a little tricky to find the right school for someone who wants to pursue a career in this field. This is where Medical Assistant Training Schools comes in. How? By providing interested students with the information about Medical Assistant schools that best fits a person’s schedule or demands. They have all the vital information for both online and campus healthcare schools. Since they have information for a lot of schools, they also have a vast of information when it comes to medi

Ugh...

I already wrote something about this in my Teacher's Corner Blog ....and I thought I would just let it go. But everywhere I go online, especially Yahoo News which is my primary source of news, this story is just hogging the news. Just in Yahoo , there's about 4 news about it 3 of them have the same thing in them, just 3 different headlines. What am I talking about??? Jamie Lynn Spears says she's pregnant !!! Okay...who is she??? She's the sister of the infamous Britney Spears...and she's only 16 years old. Now, I am not condoning what she's done but why is she in the news this much??? Is there nothing else to report? But like I mention in my other blog, I just hope they cancel her show that young girls who idolize her follow. Oh well, I guess it's a slow day just like in the blogging world right now.
