"Hands"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just read this story in one of the emails in my inbox. Just like always, whenever I read or hear something that I feel is worth sharing, I post it here. So here it goes....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Grandma, some ninety plus years, sat feebly on the patio bench. She didn't move, just sat with her head down staring at her hands. When I sat down beside her she didn't acknowledge my presence and the longer I sat I wondered if she was OK.

Finally, not really wanting to disturb her but wanting to check on her at the same time, I asked her if she was O K. She raised her head and looked at me and smiled. "Yes, I'm fine, thank you for asking," she said in a clear voice strong.

"I didn't mean to disturb you, Grandma, but you were just sitting here staring at your hands and I wanted to make sure you were OK," I explained to her.

"Have you ever looked at your hands," she asked. "I mean really looked at your hands?"

I slowly opened my hands and stared down at them. I turned them over, palms up and then palms down. No, I guess I had never really looked at my hands as I tried to figure out the point she was making. Grandma smiled and related this story:

"Stop and think for a moment about the hands you have, how they have served you well throughout your years. These hands, though wrinkled shriveled and weak have been the tools I have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life.

They braced and caught my fall when as a toddler I crashed upon the floor. They put food in my mouth and clothes on my back. As a child, my mother taught me to fold them in prayer. They tied my shoes and pulled on my boots. They held my husband and wiped my tears when he went off to war.

They have been dirty, scraped and raw, swollen and bent. They were uneasy and clumsy when I tried to hold my newborn son. Decorated with my wedding band they showed the world that I was married and loved someone special They wrote my letters to him and trembled and shook when I buried my parents and spouse.

They have held my children and grandchildren, consoled neighbors, and shook in fists of anger when I didn't understand.

They have covered my face, combed my hair, and washed and cleansed the rest of my body. They have been sticky and wet, bent and broken, dried and raw. And to this day when not much of anything else of me works real well these hands hold me up, lay me down, and again continue to fold in prayer.

These hands are the mark of where I've been and the ruggedness of life."

When my hands are hurt or sore or when I stroke the face of my children and husband I think of Grandma. I know she has been stroked and caressed and held by the hands of God.

I, too, want to touch the face of God and feel His hands upon my face.

3G iPhone...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...will be out in May? maybe June? Well, this is according to a report by Bank of America. Although neither AT&T nor Apple has confirmed or denied this news. All they're saying is there is a higher speed version of iPhone coming out but no date has been set of its release.
A lot of people are saying that it may just be in June of this year because there is a scheduled iPhone developers conference during that month. According to the Bank of America report though, there is a possible small amount of production in May followed by a significant one in June.
So for the iPhone fanatics out there, make sure you tune in this coming May or in June if you want to get your hands on this higher speed version of your toy. I won't be holding my breath because I don't have a use for a cheap regular cell phone right now much less a higher-speed very expensive iPhone.
Dial Your Way to New York.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I am not much of a traveler. Amazingly though, I have a lot of friends who just can’t get enough of traveling. I don’t know why but it seems that every other week I get a call or an email from a friend, different friends actually, that they are traveling to such and such place. Just this weekend, a friend who is now teaching in London dropped me an email to let me know that she’s coming over here this summer. She was able to get about a month off from work and that she has already booked a flight to New York! Good for her. I wish I can just do that…get up and go. But I have a family now so I just can’t do what my friends do which is travel when they get time-off from work. But if and when I am able to travel to New York myself to see, what else but the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, I know where to find cheap tickets…DialAFlight.

Termites....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Termite problem is something very familiar to me and my family. The house that my siblings and I grew up in was destroyed by termites. But that was a long time ago when people were not that aware of the magnitude of damage termites can do to their homes. Fortunately today we are better educated and informed of this ‘invisible’ calamity. One kind of termite that has been causing problems is called the Formosa termite. But there is no need to worry about it because information on formosan termite control is now readily available to homeowners who do not want their homes be ravaged by this kind of termite. Information about this termite and some other kinds of termites can be found at killthetermites.com. Make sure to visit the site for more information on termites and how to prevent them from taking over your lives.
Coffee Lovers....Lookey Here...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Would you drink your coffee if it looks like this???

Or this?????

Or maybe like this??

Aren't they amazing?? I got these pictures from an email sent to me today. This is what it says...

Coffee Art
..... There is a restaurant in Vancouver ..where they dress up the lattes.
........ you get to watch them create the pictures. What can be done with coffee, cream, milk & imagination! Too good to drink!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don't drink coffee anymore but if ever I go to Vancouver, I'd be dropping by that restaurant just to buy one or two of their coffees. Amazing what people can come up with to lure customers into their business..
Glass or Stone Vessel Sink?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There are several key things to consider when choosing a vessel sink. The two most popular materials that vessel sinks are constructed from are glass and stone.

Glass vessel sinks are commonly installed in home and business bathrooms because they are less expensive than stone vessel sinks and they are also very stylish. The trade off is that glass vessel sinks are not as durable as stone vessel sinks.

Stone vessel sinks are a more expensive initial investment. But, a stone vessel sink is a purchase that is likely to last longer whereas a vessel sink made of glass will likely need replaced sooner.

Some people prefer to install vessel sinks made of other materials like ceramic. Ceramic vessel sinks generally range in the middle in terms of durability and price.

When choosing which type of vessel sink is best for you, you should consider how rough the people using the sink will tend to be on it. If you have kids who might be very rough on a sink or if you think you might drop something on your sink that may crack it, you may want to choose a more durable stone sink for your bathroom.

Let's Talk Football...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Football season is currently on hiatus but it does not mean that lovers of this very famous game should also be on hiatus, right? Last season, I blogged a lot about the NFL and some teams I was rooting for like the Green Bay Packers and the Colts. Yes, I had my nfl pick even if I just started following this game as few years ago. My husband is a football fanatic so that’s probably why I got drawn into it myself. I scout the internet for information on picks for the season but I don’t have to do that anymore because I now can just go to addictssports.com. It’s forum that’s all about different sports like football. Now I have a site I can go if and when I want to ‘talk’ football.
Back Home...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

from running some errands and visiting the house. I have not had the chance to blog hop much today so my apologies to my visitors. I'll try and do some hopping later on...maybe after dinner.

Anyway, it seems that everything that's being done to the house now is all in slow motion. I guess that's what happens once the house itself is built. I think it only took a about a week or so to actually see the house go up. But once it's up, geez... it seems that they barely do anything anymore. This week they only did some of the boxes for the outlets which by the way were cra..y, the driveway and the walkway and the screen for the back porch. That's for a week. We were hoping that we can move in before the little one's birthday but it may not happen. Oh well....we've waited for 4 years so what's 4 more weeks, right? It's just kinda' frustrating because there are days when no work has been done at all.

Anyway, my short post turned into a whine...I have to get off now to continue with dinner. I'll see you all later.

Look at Mah Nails....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nah...not my nails. I'm not really big on having long nails. I tried to have long nails in the mid 90s but something funny[?] happened to me. I was teaching Gr. 1 then and while I was writing on the board one of the cutest, fattest kid in class called me. So I went to his seat to see what he wanted. In his softest, sweetest voice asked me: "Why do your nails look like eagle's claws?" It wasn't too long after that when I decided to go back to my old nails...short.
I still admire women with long nails...some of them anyway. Not sure what to think of the following nails though. What 'ya think??? Would have your nails done this way??
The Choice is Yours...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It’s been years since I graduated from college. I can barely remember who my teachers were or how the buildings in the university look like. I enjoyed my college life very much but it was not always easy especially financially. My parents tried very hard to help me out as much as they can but they could only do so much. I was very responsible when it came to using my allowance wisely but sometimes unexpected expenses would happen. Those unexpected expenses were the ones that would normally throw us off the loop. How I wish payday loans were something available that easily during those years. Today with places like TrustSource.org can help those who may be in a bind find the best place for them to get payday loans. Yes, this place provides choices and it's yours to make. If this place was around during my college days, I probably would have a much easier time and enjoy those days. But hey that’s life and I survived. At least now I know where to go if and when I may need some cash…TrustSource.org.

A Special Book for a Special Girl...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is what we got in the mail today!
It’s a one of the personalized books I found online that I ‘intended’ to give our little one for her birthday in a few weeks. I quoted intended because that’s what I originally thought of doing. But since the two of us usually get the mail, there is just no chance that she would miss something like this. So even if my intention was good, it didn’t go as planned. But that’s alright because she loves the book to the max. She read it as soon as it came out of the package it came in…and she’s done reading already.
These personalized books are really neat. My little girl enjoyed it tremendously because it’s "her" who is the star of the story. Everytime she comes across her name in the story she would just giggle and would have this huge smile on her face. The prints of the book are just perfect for her to actually enjoy reading the whole book in one sitting. The illustration in the book is also very nicely done and colorful that my daughter would stay on the page after reading to admire the illustrations. And guess what? It's very affordable.
Since my surprise for her is somehow ruined, I decided to find something else for her, and yes something personalized again. Since I am very much pleased with this book we got in the mail today, I am thinking of getting this ‘Care Bear Alarm Clock’ from the same place I got the book, Kids Personally, LLC. I'm sure she will be thrilled to get this one as well.
New York, New York.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

New York is probably one of the most popular states here in the US. I remember being told by a friend that if I ever visit the US, I should include New York or the ‘Big Apple’ as she calls it, in my itinerary. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do that when I came here for a vacation. But one day, I will. I may even consider settling there for the right reasons. And when that time comes, I know where to find Manhattan real estate agent that can help me with my search for a place to live…Prudential Douglas Elliman. This place does not only have agents for the Manhattan area but all across New York. So if I ever decide to try it out in the Big Apple, I know where to go to help me find a place I would call home...Prudential Douglas Elliman.

So who do I tag this time? Hmm...I guess no one again since I tagged all of my blogger friends earlier. I'm afraid they might ban me from coming to their sites if all I do is tag them..haha.

What You Love Most About Your Partner....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Which partner?? in crime??? Hahaha...thanks much to Gracie, the Chic Shopaholic herself for this tag. Yep, today is tag day here on my blog. Trying to catch up on some...some I can't locate anymore...hehe...sowee...
Anyway, back to the task at hand. So what do I love most about my partner...a.k.a. my husband...?? Parang "how do I love thee...let me count the ways..."
We understand each other for the most part.
He takes care of me and our little one.
He does the grocery shopping.
He doesn't force me to do anything.
He does not waste money on unimportant things.
He has dreams and he's doing what it takes to realize them.
He hates to lie...just because he has a very short memory..haha.
He's a jack of all trades and can still manage to be a master of some things.
I can go on and on so I better stop here. Hey, I married him didn't I? So I guess that would explain why there's a lot of things I love about him. I'm sure same goes to all of you out there who's married to your significant others. And since I tagged everyone in my previous tag, I won't be tagging anyone for this one. Just grab it if you want to let the world why you love your SO...
Luxury Vacations...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Eversince we got married, my husband has been working his tail off. It’s been almost 7 years and we only took very few vacations. I’m not complaining though because he’s really likes working. But someday I am looking forward to luxury vacations we could take together as a family. A vacation that does not involve attending a wedding or attending a conference disguised as a vacation. When we take that luxury vacation, that’s what it’s going to be….a vacation in luxury. We don’t even have to go far because there are luxury vacations right here in our state. I can hardy wait for that day to come.

Life is Full of Gratitude....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I "try" to do all the tags that I get...try being the operative word here since I can't keep up with all of them. But if there are tags I like doing, it has to be something like this one. Something that makes me think and look at my life in a positive way.
That being said, I'd like to thank Nelle of Lucid Creativity not only for passing on this one to me but for including "meeting me" as one of the things she's grateful for. I didn't expect it but it's very flattering. So let me start by saying that I am also grateful for 'bumping' into her here in the blogesphere. I can still remember where that first encounter was. It was on JK's blog. Without getting into too much detail, she left a message for JK and I got to read it. Her message was very touching that it made me visit her blog. That simple.
It's not everyday that you come across someone like that...didn't know then that's she's only 21 yrs old. I was still playing hide and seek and blowing bubbles at that age [ha!]...but there she was imparting some words of wisdom. Today, here we are...full-pledged members of the MAC together with Mommy Ruby. MAC?? Mutual Admiration Club...haha.
What else am I grateful about/for? Plenty actually. My life is blessed in so many ways. I didn't grow up with all the material things I wanted [and needed sometimes] but it was a very happy childhood. For that I'm grateful for/to my parents and siblings. Yes we went [still do] through all the dramas that families go through but at the end of the day, it's us that stayed together ...through thick and thin.
My parents for letting me grow and letting me go when I had to so I can live a life that I may have not known if they hadn't let me go. It was probably one of the hardest things for them to do but they did it for me...and I will forever be grateful for that.
Some unknown person/s that sent me through college. I never met him/her/they but I will always be grateful because without their financial assistance, I probably wouldn't be where I am right now.
The nuns in a dormitory at Pope Pius XII Catholic Center for providing me with a safe haven while I was away from my family. I so loved that place I stayed for another year after my college graduation...
My husband for finding him when I did [yes, I found him]. For being the best Dad and husband I could ever ask for. For having a dream and doing what it takes to realize that dream. For letting me stay home with our little one and for not resenting me for not learning how to drive [yet].
Our daughter for making life worth living for. I never really thought I'd be a mother one day as I used to be so busy being a daughter myself. Now that we have her, I can't imagine life without her.
I have a lot of other things I am grateful about/for but if I start listing them all it will take me forever to finish this interesting tag. So I am stopping here for now and wait for a similar tag [or this very same tag from another blogger...haha] to list down some of the things I am grateful for.
And now it's my turn to see what some of my blogger friends are thankful for. So let me tag the following:
Off to Bed...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's almost midnight where I am so I have to go to bed really soon. I was able to finish my quota for the day although I still have some assignments that need done. They can wait till tomorrow that's why I'm going to call it a night.

For all those that came over today/tonight and those who will be dropping by while I'm deep slumber, THANKS MUCH!!! I really appreciate the time and thought. I'll return the favor as soon as I get the chance.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

Be Covered....NOW!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finding a health insurance that fits our needs AND budget is always tough. I know because we’ve been trying to do that for the past few years. We have a daughter so for us a health insurance is a must. I am always on the lookout for one that we can stick with and this is how I read about short term health insurance. Honestly, I didn’t even know that such thing exists until I read about it. For those who are not familiar with this type of insurance, it’s kind of a temporary health insurance that can last from a month to a year. It’s very ideal for those who are in between jobs or are waiting for a company insurance coverage. Knowing about this type of insurance somehow puts my mind at ease. I know that I have a choice if and when we choose to terminate our present insurance. With the help of Peoples Health Insurance, I can easily find one that fits our needs. So if you don’t have a health insurance right now, do something about it ASAP. Request a short term health insurance quote and be covered. Visit Peoples Health Insurance and see what they have to offer. I’m sure you’ll find something for you and your loved ones.
Chicklet....
Yes, I got a chicklet. A very thoughtful Nelle of Lucid Creativity made it for me!!! Thanks Nelle! I really, really appreciate it. I have been getting bunches of flattering remarks from you and Mommy Ruby and I can't put into words how much you two are appreciated. How about: You two are very much appreciated!" LOL...see creativity in me strikes again...huh??
I zoomed it out a bit for this entry but I will be finding a spot for it in all its size and glory on my sidebar as soon as I get the chance.
Thanks again, girl!
Apartment Hunting Made Simple...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Finding a house or an apartment to live in can be frustrating and tiring most of the time. It used to be that if you need to find one, you would have to visit the place in person just to have a clue of what it has to offer. Today, thanks to the power of the internet, there are places like WeRentBoston.com where those who are looking for say Boston luxury apartments can go and search for apartments. The site has a very easy search feature so one can easily navigate it. One can choose apartments according to the price, locations and the kind of apartment he or she is looking for. Now, if that is not the easiest way to find an apartment, I don’t know what is. With WeRentBoston.com, apartment hunting has never been easier.

Busy Friday...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kinda' anyway. Like I mentioned in my first post today, we had an early start today - at least for me and the little one. The H woke up late, around 7 [late for him because he normally leaves for work before 5 AM] so after bidding him bye-bye, the little one and I just stayed in bed watching TV until about 8. We had breakfast then I started doing some work - for a change. Laundry was also going while I was working. So yeah, I can say I was a bit more productive today than yesterday. Tomorrow is another day though..haha.
I didn't blog much though. I bloghopped to most of my blog roll's cribs but that's about it. Now I am here trying to beat time and post the maximum for the day on this blog. I have about an hour and 45 minutes to write 2 more plus some in-betweens.
Anyway, I read in one of the boards that the mighty G has reared its ugly head again and handed down the dreaded big fat zero to some bloggers who used to have a 3 on their blogs. I guess it's just a matter of days, even hours, before I get it myself. Oh well...like I said when I first got the rank, I knew it's only something temporary. I still have the rank but I am not pinning my hopes on it anymore since I've been taking advantage of it, if you know what I mean.
Gotta go for now.....see ya!
Cruising Along....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

An older friend of mine who retired a few years ago likes to travel a lot with her husband. They have been to almost all the countries in Asia and a lot of countries in Europe. Her husband is presently in Taiwan for some consultation job but he’s coming over here in the US in about a month or so. My friend is talking about taking another vacation with him as soon as he arrives here. While we were talking on the phone she was surfing online for some possible places they can go to while her husband is here. She is thinking of going to Hawaii, Florida or Alaska. These are the top 3 places on her list so when I came across this amazing Alaska cruise vacation deal, I automatically thought of her. The one I came across with is from TravelStoreUSA.com and they have quite a few choices of Alaska cruises that my friend can choose from. Actually, they have a lot of other cruises that my friend can choose from. My friend would probably be like a kid in a candy store once she visits TravelStoreUSA.com.

Work, Laundry and an Egg...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yeah, it's Friday again! Well, I am having some kind of a productive day today as compared to yesterday. I already did some QC work for my coding job and I'm on my last load of laundry. Yay!
I still have to fold some clothes and do some blogging but I can do that a little later. I am now about to eat my lunch. This is where the Egg comes in. We still have some of the 'easter' eggs in the fridge. The little one eats them when she feels like it but she only eats the white part...healthy, eh? So I get to eat the yolk...which fine by me. I don't usually heat the eggs because she likes them cold.
Anyway, she's done with the whites. I am about to eat lunch now so I decided to heat my rice...with the yolk on the plate! Big No-No!! Why? Because after about 30 seconds I heard a POP!! Yes, the yolk exploded in the microwave. There are only 2 yolks and only 1 popped really good but the mess it made....oh my. The inside of the microwave was covered with egg yolk!! As in top to bottom!!
Lesson for the day: Do not put an egg in the microwave because it will pop and it will make a BIG MESS! Sigh....Or maybe you can COVER it so the mess is contained.
Gearing Up for Summer
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I grew up in a country where the sun is shining most days during the year. So I learned not to stay out too much because I have heard a lot of horror stories about the damage sun can cause to my skin. I am aware though that I won’t be able to run away from the sun forever especially now that I have a very active little girl who cannot get enough of the outdoors. So if I can’t keep her indoors, I have to find a way to minimize if not prevent whatever damage the sun can do to her skin. One site that has UV protective clothing is Sunsational Style. Aside from the clothing, they have everything imaginable for sun protection, even skin cancer resources and sun protection education. Now I don’t have to worry about my daughter whenever she’s out there playing under the blazing heat of the sun. With all the protective gears I can get from Sunsational Style, she can enjoy the outdoors as much as she wants.

Special Grocery List

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've read this 'story' a few times already. But everytime I read it, it seems to hit me to the core.
It's probably a 'make up' story but the lesson it's trying to convey is worth learning. So I am sharing it here for all those who sometimes forget the power of Prayers.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a grocery store.

She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries.

She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food.

John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store at once.

Visualizing the family needs, she said: "Please, sir! I will bring you the money just as
soon as I can."

John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a charge account at his store.

Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two. The customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family.
The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, "Do you have a grocery list?"

Louise replied, "Yes sir." "O.K" he said, "put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that amount in groceries."

Louise, hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed.

The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went down and stayed down.

The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, "I can't believe it."

The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more.

The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement.

It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said:

"Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands."

The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood in stunned silence.

Louise thanked him and left the store.
The other customer handed a fifty-dollar bill to the grocer and said;

"It was worth every penny of it. Only God Knows how much a prayer weighs."

Smile!!!

I like to smile, a lot, as you can see in my picture here in my blog. Why not when I have a lot of reasons to smile about, right? Besides, they say that you move less muscles when you smile compared to when you frown. So I take care of my teeth as much as possible because I know that my smile will be the first to suffer if I have teeth that are not worthy of showing. Although I have not tried any tooth whitening service, I am thankful that places like Beverly Hills tooth whitening services are around if and when I will need this kind of service. I know I would do everything I could to keep on smiling.

Iridescent Glass Tiles

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
During the time that my husband and I were ‘house shopping’, we went to a lot of model houses. We went from the cheapest one that we could find to the most expensive one that the realtor would let us see. We knew we couldn’t afford those high end houses but hey, there’s no harm in looking [and drooling], right? One room I usually go to check is the bathroom. I’m not sure why but I like bathrooms, clean ones of course. And in one of the houses we went to, they had the sparkly tiles on them that I only see in good hotels or the houses of some well-to-do families. The tiles are called Iridescent Glass Tiles according to the lady. I like the effect they have in the bathroom because the tiles make the bathroom give the bathroom a touch of sophistication.
We are not having the Iridescent Glass Tiles in the new house…yet because of budget constraint. We are planning in upgrading the house down the road and putting these shimmering tiles would definitely be one of the upgrades.
Creative Ruling...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

or whatever others would call it. There's this judge in Pennsylvania who is known to be giving out creative ruling to some law breaker. The last one he handed is for 3 of the 4 who faced prison because of criminal conspiracy to commit robbery. Can you guess what Luzerne County Judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. asked them to do instead of staying in jail for 4 to 24 months more?

He told them to learn/write English, get a GED and get full-time jobs. If they choose to do that, they stay out of prison and be on probation while meeting these 'requirements'. If not, then they go back to jail.

Isn't that creative? Is it fair? I'm not sure, maybe, maybe not. But don't they offer classes in prison where inmates can actually earn degrees if they want to?

Anyway, this judge is indeed different from the others. I'm not sure what other creative ruling he handed in the past but I would surely look it up.

Lazy no More???

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yeah...I just finished hopping. I visited everyone I believe. Woo hoo...so does that mean I'm no longer lazy??? Well, not really. I'm sitting here on the bed while hopping so my fingers did all the hopping.
Anyway, I'm getting off for a few to start 'thinking' on what to make for dinner. Yeah, I am just now thinking on what to prepare. We'll see what the chef in me will come up with. Haha...
See you all later..
