Missing in Action...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kinda'....I just didn't have the time to blog earlier today because I got busy. Nothing new around here except W-O-R-K has come pouring again...and they are all RUSH projects...something like....they have to be done NOW! We are having our usual sunny....err...rainy day here again. It's been raining since lunch time on and off. It's real wet outside so we didn't even go out of the house. The husband did his usual yard work on Saturdays while the little and I stayed in the house. That's basically it for today. Tomorrow??? It's still up in the air. We are supposed to attend a wedding but we are still waiting for a call from my sister-in-law to tell us about the time. The invite they sent us got lost along the way probably because of the move. So if you don't see me tomorrow that means I am all made up attending our niece's wedding.
Cover Up!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Florida is known as the Sunshine State for obvious reasons. Lately though, that nickname doesn’t seem to apply where we’re at right now. It’s been raining a lot and the sun is not ‘shining’ down on us much. As a result, our back patio is always wet…including whatever is out there. So the husband has been looking at patio furniture covers because of all this rain. We only have a couple of patio furniture but it wouldn’t be long before we give in to the temptation of buying a full patio set. It’s only a matter of time. I can feel it.

Pink Fan...

Image
This is the fan we have in our bedroom! Nah....of course not. This is the little one's ceiling fan that Dad got her just yesterday. She was complaining that she's hot at night...even with the central air on 24/7. I wear my 'moomoo' every night because I get too cold with the air and here she was complaining about being hot. Anyway, the Dad heeded her call and got her that pretty pink ceiling fan. I kinda' like it actually but I'm way too old to have that in our bedroom. Besides, I don't think the husband likes pink that much.

I Wish...I Wish for....

Image
At least a day with no problem with our cable service provider. The husband is now busy looking for another provider. I am keeping everything crossed that we will find one that we like so we can move on and get rid of this provider we have right now. Here's wishing you all a good day today. It's already Thursday! I have quite a few things lined up today but I'm not sure if I can accomplish them all today. Wish me luck, okay?

Time to Say....

Image
It's been one frustrating day for me, work wise especially. I thought I would be able to do some decent work. Unfortunately, our ever dependable[NOT], ever reliable [NOT!] ISP had other plans for me. Because of what happened today we decided to find another phone company. We MAY keep the other 2, cable and internet. At least when one of the services is down, we can still communicate with the culprit. Right now we have a bundle package with one company so if one of the services is down, all 3 are down. That means we cannot email or call to bite their heads off!!! Anyway, I have to say goodnight. Much as I want to do more work, I just don't have the motivation right now. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day.

Bummer...

Image
That's how I feel right now!!! The culprit?? Our internet/phone/cable combo is just frolickin' crazy! It started at 1:00 this afternoon and it's just on and off! I don't have a cellphone simply because I have no use for it since I am always at home. So I cannot call them from here. I was able to call the husband to tell him about it. As soon as I put down the phone, it's dead again! Arrrggghhhh!!!!!!! Moral Lesson?? Do not subscribe with the same company for your phone, cable and internet. It may save you a few bucks but the stress is just not worth it. This is the second time this happened. Oh well...I gotta' go and cut this short or my connection my go kaput again before I can post this.

What's Up??

Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm quite bored today. Nothing exciting happening around here. I just finished making dinner and we're now waiting for the husband to come in...he just arrived from work and is now unhooking his trailer. I've done a few tasks but have not blog hopped yet. I'd probably do that later on. I have to start cutting up my roast chicken so it's ready when the husband and the daughter are ready to eat. In the meantime, I would like to thank Pinaymama - Joy of Garden of Moments and Carol of insights from the grocery cart for these 2 awards/tags. Thanks Mommies....appreciate the thought as always.
Education Online
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Having a degree was very important part of my life. I was fortunate enough to have it because of other people’s help. I would always be grateful for the scholarship I was given. When I started working, I decided to take up my master’s degree in educational management. It worked for a while but as soon as I started getting more loads for my masters, I had to choose between my job and the degree. I chose the masters since I knew it will give me a better chance of finding a better job. I didn't want to stop working but I had no choice. If that happened today, I wouldn’t have any problem because I can finish my education online while I work. Right now I am contemplating in taking up something online. I know that learning should be continuous and with online education, I can do it in the comfort of my own home.

DVDs...for Sale?

Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We have accumulated so many DVDs throughout the years that I don't really know what to do with them. Well, let me make that "children's DVDs". Yep, most of the DVDs are the little one's and she just wouldn't let them go. Up until about a week ago, they were still in the box but I finally had the chance to take them out and I really don't know where to put them. Right now they're in the armoire in our bedroom but sooner or later they would have to be moved. I told the husband about it and he said to pack them and send them to the Philippines...for my niece's children. Hmmm...maybe that's a good idea. Now all I have to do is find 'that' chance when the little one is not looking so I can sneak them out. Oh we just got her 5 more about 2 weeks ago...and there's more coming. Although the ones we're going to buy next are educational ones. Sigh...looks like there's really no end in sight as far as
Ready to Save Lives
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If life is like the movies, then we will have superheroes saving lives. But life is very much different. Still, if we are given a chance to save lives, I’m sure there will be a lot of people who would want to do it. I know I would. This is why we chose to preserve our little one’s cord blood when she was born. Today, there is another possible way to help save lives in the future. It’s also About the Science of stem cell and what it can do for our future. But this time the stem cells will be harvested from the menstrual blood that every woman secretes monthly. Am I surprised with this new development? Actually, I’m not. Growing up, our grandmother had this crazy notion that menstrual blood can actually help clear up skin! She didn’t have any scientific explanation then so we never really paid attention to it. But with the recent developments and with C'elle providing women with the opportunity to collect and preserve the vital stem cells from the bo

The Kids are Alright....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's Tuesday. My day is going alright so far. I don't feel as lazy but I'm feeling tired today. Ha! Anyway, I'm busy blogging right now while the little one is doing her work across from me. Geezz...she talks too much even if she's working on her book. Anyway, here's something to make you smile.... The Kids Are Alright ... Two little kids are in a hospital, lying on stretchers next to each other outside the operating room. The first kid leans over and asks, "What are you in here for?" The second kid says, "I'm in here to get my tonsils out and I'm a little nervous." The first kid says, "You've got nothing to worry about. I had that done when I was four. They put you to sleep, and when you wake up they give you lots of Jello and ice cream. It's a breeze. "The second kid then asks, "What are you here for?" The first kid says, "A c
Blog Awards... tags!
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here are 3 of the awards I got lately from my ever thoughtful blogger friends. A couple of them are long overdue...sowee! I got busy with....with....I can't even remember with what anymore. Anyway, thanks to the following blogger friends for including me in the their list. The thought is very much appreciated! Vhiel of Can of Thoughts..... “You are never a burden.. don’t ever think that. Old house tales....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About 2 weeks ago, we decided to use a realtor to sell the old house. We only put up a sign before with our contact information on it so there was really no marketing done. We still had a lot of our stuff there until that time so the husband got busy in the last 2 weeks moving them here. He also did some quick checking around the house and he found out that the kitchen faucets need fixing. He said he can do it himself when he has the chance but we're still undecided if he should just fix the old ones or replace them with new ones. Oh well, I guess if the house doesn't sell soon he can replace them faucets. That way the kitchen will look more attractive.
Lazy Me...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's been a lazy Monday here. I did very few things today. I think I'm not used to having a sunny day anymore....hahaha. Yes, you read that right...it was SUNNY here today. It drizzled for a few minutes but that's about it. I think Fay decided to say buh-bye already. I did some things off line though so it's not really a 'wasted' day. We did some paperworks and I baked a pumpkin pie!!! That's the husband's favorite pie actually but I wasn't sure when I baked it. I used squash instead of the usual pumpkin but he said it tastes okay I'm happy. The little one's reaction is same-o same-o..."It's the best, Mom!"...LOL...

Just....

Image
Whew...been quite busy with life so I wasn't able to blog yesterday. Sunday was errands' day for us so we were out most of the day. We braved the rain to get things done...yay! I will be busy today [and the days to come] as well. I have a lot of things to finalize so life can go on as 'planned'. I will be 'poppin' in here just like that cute puppy up top...every now and then. I hope you all have a great week. Start it right, alright?

Of Ice-Cream and Bets...

Image
Well, "losing bets" I should say. So the husband got me my favorite ice cream... a pint of butter pecan. He also got some chocolate ice-cream bars for him and the little one because they both don't like my ice-cream...yay!!! Anyway, there were 3 ice cream bars in the box which means that if they ate 1 each yesterday, there would only be 1 left. Who should get it? Well, obviously the little one should get it. BUT....they made a bet this morning...with the ice-cream bar at stake!!! I knew and the husband knew that little one had it wrong but being the daughter of HER father [stubborn is the word] she wouldn't give in. In short, she lost! What happened? Come time to eat the ice cream, we have a little girl crying her heart out because she really wanted the ice-cream...LOL!! I offered mine but no, she refused. Just to make his point, the Dad didn't give her the whole bar....just half of it...with the reminder: Next time, listen when I say your answer is not right. Ha

Where's the Party?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of my husband’s nieces is getting married next weekend. It’s a very small family affair and everything from the invitation to the reception is being done by the family. I actually admire them because I will never be able to pull off something like that. If and when I organize anything like a party, I’d probably be doing very little. I’d order party invitations and probably have the food catered as well. It may cost a little more but it will surely be one stress-free celebration.
Sticking Around...
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yep, I'm talking about FAY! She's been in the sunshine state for almost a week already. We are still feeling it even though it's quite far from where we are. It seems that this tropical storm grew so attached to our state that it decided to stay longer than it should.

Lesson Learned...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our neighbor is in the process of moving. I’ve been seeing their truck rental in front of their house since 2 days ago. Seeing them load the truck made me remember our very own move about 2 months ago. Our move was done slowly as we didn’t hire any moving companies instead we did it ourselves. As result it was way too stressful because we only used a trailer with no cover. So when it rained we had to wait it out. So I commend our neighbor for getting a truck rental instead of doing it the way we did it. But lesson is learned. If and when we move again, we know better and we’ll hire help that time around.
Time to Relax....
Image
Or is it? It's the weekend once again. Does it mean it's time to relax? For some yes, for the others, not quite. "Others"...meaning ....ME! I don't know why but it seems that in my line of work [WAHM], weekend and relaxing don't go together. Why? Because WORK is usually released on the weekends! I don't know why...I don't really want to know why. But if I want to make some moolah...then the weekend is usually the time to do it. Oh well...I guess I just have to be thankful that "I have work." I just wish it's more predictable so I can plan accordingly. Enjoy your weekend everyone. Me? I'll try!
Web Hosting Rating....
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We always want to go with the best and that’s a fact. This is the reason why everything and anything is being rated. And for a consumer like me, that is a good thing. So I am always thankful when I stumble upon a site that rates either products or services like hosting rating rating. With the help of websites like WebHostingRating.com, a consumer like me can make an educated choice because facts are presented and compared in one sitting and on the same page. With WebHostingRating, different web hosting services are rated based on customer satisfaction, affordability, reliability, uptime and technical support. Yes, customer satisfaction is one of the bases which can only mean that people who have used the services are involved in deciding which one is the best. Aside from the ratings itself, this website has valuable articles that everyone can benefit from such as Tips for Choosing a Domain . So if you are looking for a web hosting service, make sure to d

True Love...a Tag!

Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Friday tag from Cecile . This time it's about TL or true love....hahaha. Let's see if I can answer these questions... What does true love mean to you ? True Love means never having to say you're sorry! Charing...haha. Seriously, true love for me is when I was able to say: the heck with it. Oh wait I say that all the time…LOL! How do you know you’re really in love? When I forget about myself…not a good thing! How many times in your life have you fallen in love? Hmmm…3? Maybe 4… Have you ever fallen out of true love because you were mad at the moment? Nah. Do you feel love and physical attraction is the same thing? Nope. If they’re the same thing, our world will not be as crazy. If your true love became ill or disfigured would you continue to love them the same way? Nah…I will look for someone else. Hahaha…Of course I will love him the same way. Should anyone else be able to tell you who to love or not love? Me, myself and I only.
Look-Alike? Really???
Image
No, that's not me. Hahaha....yes, that's Maricel Soriano . I got that picture from Photobucket. I can't find any other picture where she's smiling. Why am I looking for a picture of her smiling? Because I keep getting comments that I look like her. Surprising, huh? And since I was smiling in the pictures I'm told I *look* like her , I tried to look for one where she's also smiling. Here's the bigger version of that picture of mine up top. This is also the picture I have in my high school alumni's website...and a few of my former HS classmates said that I look like her as well. Ha! Anyway, today I got that same comment in my other blog... Teacher's Corner . But this time it's for this picture..... Hmmm...do you think I should start posing as her??? I'd probably make a few cents here and there, ya know? LOL...nah...I can't always smile like that. The husband said that maybe I should change my picture and see if I get the same comment. Hmm..
A Vacation Worth Remembering...
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vacations are always fun especially if you take them with loved ones and friends. Sometimes, these vacations turn out to be really memorable because of some instances that are not planned. Just like what happened when my friends decided we should go on Las Vegas tours . Las Vegas itself is worth remembering but one instance made it more memorable to us because it was unexpected. While in Las Vegas, my friends and I hailed a taxi to take us some place. The taxi we hailed could only accommodate 6 passengers. There were 6 of us + 1 kid. We knew the driver wouldn’t let us all in the taxi so we decided to hide the little under her Mom’s dress. It was probably one of the longest rides of my life as well as one of the funniest. The little boy was so angry at his Mom but all we could do was laugh. Remembering that vacation just made me want to go on one and I have to say that we so badly need to on one. So I went online to look for online travel guides . And I f

Judas Asparagus...

A child was asked to write a book report on the entire Bible. Here's his amazing interpretation of the bible. I wonder how often we take for granted that children understand what we are teaching??? Through the eyes of a child: The Children's Bible in a Nutshell In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness, and some gas. The Bible says, 'The Lord thy God is one, but I think He must be a lot older than that. Anyway, God said, 'Give me a light!' and someone did. Then God made the world. He split the Adam and made Eve. Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren't embarrassed because mirrors hadn't been invented yet. Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven from the Garden of Eden. Not sure what they were driven in though, because they didn't have cars. Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel. Pretty soon all of

Walk for a Cause

Image
I am not big on exercise. But if there’s something I really like doing which can be considered as exercise, it has to be walking. Since I don’t exercise, I make it a point to walk regularly even just for short distances. It revs me up somehow when I walk and it gives me some kind of a fulfillment. How much more if I walk for a cause? I’m sure I would feel doubly fulfilled because I won’t only be walking for me but for others as well. This is why I am thinking of joining the Alzheimer's Memory Walk soon. <br><br>The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk is something that anyone can do. I checked the nearest walk in my area and I found out that there will be one in Georgia come November 1, 2008. What do you know, it falls on my birthday. Maybe I can convince the husband to register us so we can join. What can be a better gift for my birthday than knowing I a

Touching Picture...

Image
Mother and Son I thought I'd stop posting about Michael Phelps but after seeing this picture at US Magazine website, I can't help but grab and post it here. I can only imagine what kind of sacrifices his Mom had to go through so her son can go this far. I've only seen a few of his events but at the end of those events, I would always see him go to his Mom to give her a kiss. This is one of those moments.... Picture courtesy of USMagazine

Here Comes the....

Image
the Rain Again........... And the little one is singing: "It's raining, it's pouring, it's so very boring! " Actually, it just stopped! What do you know? Ha! The little one was sitting here beside me when the rain started. I guess she got bored so now she's watching another one of her DVDs. Nothing much going on here. I'm still trying to follow Fay through the Weather Channel.

Cryo-Cell...for One's Health Future

Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When I was pregnant with our little one, my husband read something that got him curious. It’s about preserving cord blood for future use in case some health issues arise. So he went online and tried to find as much information as he could. What he found got him interested in doing it. So we contacted Cryo-Cell l and told them of our interest in what they’re offering. They sent us a kit. All we had to do was to tell our doctor or the nurse about it and they’ll do everything for us. A sister in law was kind enough to wait for it and drove to Cryo-Cell’s facility near here. Just like any normal human being, we don’t want to suffer from any health issues but it’s always good to be prepared. With all the advancement in technology, the medical field is finding more and more ways to combat some serious health problems. Cryo-Cell’s campaign for preserving cord blood is something that those who want to have children should consider. For a very affordable price,
One Happy Camper...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not me but the little one. The reason??? The DVDs that Dad ordered online just arrived. She's been wanting the different Mickey Mouse DVDs for quite a while now but we couldn't find them in the stores here so we tried online and voila....there they are. Dad got her 5 DVDs...spoiled little girl..LOL.. Anyway, right now she's watching 1 of them. After that she promised to finish her school works so we'll see. As for our weather, it's been gloomy on and off. Tropical storm Fay is still that, a tropical storm. Fortunately it didn't turn into a hurricane but it's lingering over the state and is said to be serious rainmaker. It drizzled a bit this morning but it stopped. A few of the counties have been put on tornado watch until 4PM today. Thankfully our county is not one of them. That's what's happening around here right now, in and out of the house.

Ready for a Vacation...

Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Summer is almost done. A lot of families are already back from their summer get-a-way. Us? Well, we just stayed home. Life is quite busy for the husband especially at work so we were not able to go anywhere. But it does not stop me from hoping that one day we will be able to go on that much needed family beach vacation we have been planning for the longest time. I have been doing a lot of searching and comparing. I’ve seen quite a few places we can possibly visit but the husband wants to go back to New Jersey. He said he had a great time there a few years ago that he wants me and our little one to visit it ourselves. So I started to look for places we can possibly visit in New Jersey. What do you know, I found some resorts in Wildwood NJ that will be perfect for us. Morey’s Pier in particular seems to be a great place for a New Jersey vacation. They have a weekly special that is perfect for a family like ours and their website has everything from hote
One More Time with Feelings....
Image
Yep, since his stint in the Beijing Olympics is done, here's one more glimpse of the Golden Boy...ma boy... Michael Phelp s! As you can, this is a combination of his photos upon winning each of the 8 gold medals. I watched a couple of his interviews on the news today. It seems that even if he's no longer in the competition, he is still the 'talk of the town'. Some news are saying that him winning the 8th gold was actually the peak of the Beijing Olympics. Ratings are expected to go down sharply after his last event. Oh well....it was good while it lasted, eh? Photo from Yahoo News
Web Hosting Sites...Rated!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My husband’s weekend was spent mostly online. He’s looking for a website host for their company because he is not satisfied with their current host. Good thing their contract with them is about to be up so he’s now busy looking for a replacement. He hasn’t found one but I have found something that can help him in his quest for the perfect website host, WebHostingChoice! It’s a free research guide which helps people like my husband choose the website host that will be perfect for his small business. At WebHostingChoice, websites are rated by reliability, affordability, tech service and uptime. By using WebHostingChoice, my husband can make an educated choice without going from one site to another as everything he needs to know about the different website hosts are there. Cool, huh?

Fay...soon to be Hurricane?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That's what we're trying to watch out for. It's still a tropical storm right now and is about to make landfall in the Florida Keys....it's still Tropical Storm Fa y right now. According the news, we may start feeling its effects as early as tonight. This is the sixth storm of 2008 Atlantic hurricane season and it certainly is not going to be the last. Sigh.... Fortunately in the 7 years I've here, I have not experienced that bad of hurricane. There was 1 which almost made us evacuate. We loaded our things in the back of our car and waited for the advisory. Good thing it never happened. That's what stinks here in the sunshine state. There is ALWAYS that chance of another hurricane Andrew .
7....Going for 8, 9, maybe 50???
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nope, I am not talking about Michael Phelps this time. I'm talking about US. .. We're celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary ! Yep, 7 years and counting! Woo hoo!! LOL.

Acne Cure

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zits, pimples, acne…these are some of the skin problems that a lot of people are battling especially teenagers. Fortunately, I have not had this problem. The husband though has this problem every now and then. Normally, his break outs happen when he’s stressed out and it would take sometimes weeks for them to dry up. He has tried different medicine but he hasn’t found the acne cream that he can stick with. But with acnecuresrevealed.net, this may change. With the reviews on different acne treatments, we may just find one that will suit the husband’s needs.
Spreading the L-O-V-E..!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's the weekend once again! There's nothing planned for us this weekend, as usual. Here I am blogging while the husband is in the other house cleaning and straightening as we already have a realtor putting it up in the market. August is also halfway done. Before we know it, the 'ber' months will be here. As kids, we were always anxious for the 'ber' months as the beginning of it signals that the Holiday season will be really near. Anyway, I have this tag that's been waiting to be posted. Jona of {Beauty of Life} passed it on to me last week. Thanks, Jona! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Start Copy Here.... Asian Store

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We found one! I’m talking about a store that sells Philippine food products. Well, it’s actually an Asian store that sells some Philippine products as well as other products from other Asian countries. We went to visit it a couple weeks ago and met with the owner. He’s a Caucasian man married to a Filipina. Anyway, it’s about 4 miles from here and they have quite a few selections available. I was able to get most of the things I wanted so I left the store like a happy camper but not before choosing one of the promotional pens the owner so gladly offered us. I’m sure we will be going back to the store in a few weeks time.
7th Heaven....
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That's where this Golden Boy is now!!! He won his 7th gold after winning the 100-meter butterfly by 100th of a second clocking in at 50.58 compared to the 50.59 of the second placer. Whew! He finally tied Mark Spitz's record of 7 medals in the 1972 Olympics. So the quest to break that record continues. So from..... will he be able to win that within reach '8th' GOLD????????? I surely hope so! GO MICHAEL!!!! PHELPS....

Friendship...tags!

Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I woke with what else but RAIN!!! Oh well...like what the 'shrink' said, maybe I should stop singing, eh? Hold on....I have not done that in months. I guess I have to stop the little one from having these concerts everyday! Anyway, amidst the rain and gloomy weather [and the non-stop singing around here] I woke up with a few nice tags from some of my blogger friends. So I thought of posting them here first thing in the morning....well, second thing actually... This first one is from my little sister in the blogging world... Nelle of Stranded Life . I already posted this one but since it's coming from little sissy, I just have to post it again! Thanks, Nelle! This second one I posted just yesterday I think. But I got about 3 of them from my other blogger friends so I just thought I'd post it again and give a shout out to those who handed it to me.... Madz , Jhona and Ritz! Thanks much ladies!
Heavenly, indeed!!
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not too long ago, the husband here decided that I needed new wardrobe. So we went out to buy me some new tops and pants. We only got a few as I didn’t want to spend a fortune for my clothes and as usual we couldn’t find clothes that will fit me nicely as I am rather small compared to the people around here. I usually buy the petite sizes and junior clothing as those are the only ones that fit me. I told him that I will just look online for some more clothes since I can get Cheap Clothing on the internet. Aside from my own clothes, I also want to get our little one some new clothes. Even if she’s being home schooled I still want her to have some ‘back to school’ clothing. That’s exactly what I found at Heavenly Couture…some real nice back to school clothes as well as Cheap Junior Clothing that are too good to be true. Yep, it’s very affordable because nothing, as in nothing in the store is more than $17.95. Aside from that, they offer free shipping

Look-alike-Meter

Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When you have a child, you can't help but wonder who the child really takes after. We always like to say she or he takes after you, right? Well, I got this Look-alike Meter tag from a friend. All you have to do is to upload pics of the family that you want then voila...it's there. Here is our result. Seems like my hubby and I can't really say she took more than one of us. As you can see, it's fair share...50-50 as they say. LOL...Why not try it with your loved ones. Btw, the pictures you use will have a major effect on the result...surprised???
Golden Boy....
Image
Yep, Michael Phelps IS the Golden Boy and I am the Golden Tilapia....hahaha. Seriously though, this guy is just making Olympic history all on his own. He already has the most number of medals in the Olympic's history and he's now going to try and break Mark Spitz 's 7 gold medal win. Is it going to happen? I sure hope so but Australia's greatest Olympian Ian Thorp e has doubts that Phelps will be able to do it. He believes though that if there's anyone on earth who can do that, it's Michael Phelps. He just doesn't think that it will happen now. We'll see.
Who's Calling???
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A few days ago we received a phone call from someone we didn’t know…at 2 o’clock in the morning! It’s very annoying to get phone calls like that especially in the middle of the night. But what is more annoying is getting repeated calls from people who don’t seem to understand that the person they’re looking for doesn’t reside here. This is what’s happening to us right now. We keep getting this call looking for someone we don’t even know. I so badly want to know who is calling but the number is either blocked or unknown. The husband suggested to start looking for a service that can trace any phone numbe r. I couldn’t agree more. It's about time to know who has been calling us hiding behind the ‘blocked’ phone number.
